The kid, Taine Tuiapiki isn't making the warriors 17 at the moment.
Electric fullback.
I'd be throwing him a contract asap also.
Let's start making some moves!
We obviously need a 6 and 7 but also need a genuine 13, at least one more outside back and a few extra quality forwards.
I dont know what the plans are for the halves. I think the best we can do is two of Brooks, Lam, Sexton and Weaver with only the first 2 currently free to negotiate.
If Trey Mooney isn't extended before November I'd be chasing him pretty hard as the 13. I think he is by far the best young 13 around. Came through at Cabramatta so may want to return home. If Matamua does kick on who I think might make it as a lock but not much use elsewhere Mooney can play anywhere in the pack.
The best outside back coming off contract I think is Taine Tuaupiki. He's a fullback but I think he could do well anywhere in the back 5. Would give him an off season in the centres and if he doesn't win the spot over Naden he'd be next man up for any of the backs.
very trueSuggested him 2 years ago.
I don't (just) say this to toot my own horn but I think it shows one place where the club is lacking. There were decent players up for grabs when they wouldn't have cost much at all. Tuapuiki now still wouldn't cost much but it would be significantly more than 2 years ago. Perhaps the lack of scouts comments earlier is accurate.
the stoppable force v the moveable object.Apparently he will be right centre with Garrick outside him. That means it'll be AD marking him with Skelton outside him.
can't see the Flanno/Cobbo dynamic being a successCobbo likely to sign with Dragons. Could be there before June 30.
Can’t see Flanno lasting.can't see the Flanno/Cobbo dynamic being a success
Cobbo is too similar to Latrell, unless his head is in the game(rarely) he is a liability.
I can't stand his voice for starters.Wait till they see Mason names at FB, you’ll see one of the biggest fluctuations ever.
Imagine him trying to tackle Turbo in full flight? Which hasn’t happened in two seasons, but you know he’s turning up with wings on this week.
For some reason I like seeing Seibold fail. I’m not sure why?

This restricted minutes sounds like a lot of BS to me.He's got to be on a playing time restriction while still getting over any niggles/injuries, but then again, Benji seems to make a lot of decisions that many of us believe cost us games.
Awful. I had great hopes Royce keeps that early season form.... Theres the injury though, ribs take a long time. Wonder if the Dogs would entertain a trade for Sulika Fifita.... Boosts our forwards in a big way.How easily can we get out of the Royce Hunt contract?
Yesterdays numbers from KOE are alarming.
21 minutes
1 run for 7m
60% tackle efficiency
Not exactly screaming for reinclusion.
That's our much better side of defense.
Under more fatigue, created by the length of time muscles are used, there is a greater risk of straining/tearing them. This restricted minutes sounds like a lot of BS to me.
When you get the ball you run at full pace if there's a gap, right? Or make a try saving tackle.
That can be after 5 min. or 70 min. Does that mean Benji says just run at 1/2 pace for 30min. then we rest you. I just don't understand the restricted minutes claim? Someone please explain how it works?
yea trueThat's our much better side of defense.
Yeah look what happened to Bula in the last second of the game last week under fatigue trying to accelerate quickly.Under more fatigue, created by the length of time muscles are used, there is a greater risk of straining/tearing them.
They are limiting Latu’s minutes to prevent his muscles (hamstring) fatiguing to the point where it makes it/them susceptible to re-tearing.
Its about overall load on an injury. Muscle fatigue increases the risk of the injury reoccurring. I went through a similar protocol back when I was playing 20 years ago and sports science has progressed significantly since then. You need to build back up under match conditions, hard to replicate that in training. This restricted minutes sounds like a lot of BS to me.
