He was 18 going on to 19 rushed into the centre position. No NRL experience.
A very important position defence wise and put there out of necessity at the time. It failed big time.
His current form is poor, possibly a mental hangover.
In hindsight, the wrong decision.
Let's hope there were some lessons learnt so there's no repeats?

Skelton form sparks rival interest​

Off-contract Wests Tigers winger Jeral Skelton is beginning to attract interest from rival clubs after an impressive finish to the season.

Skelton has produced some of his best football over the past fortnight, crossing for three tries across his past two appearances while providing the Tigers with plenty of punch coming out of their own end.

The powerful outside back carried the ball 20 times for 152 metres in the Tigers' clash with the Roosters, backing up a 130-metre performance against North Queensland.

ESPN understands Skelton's recent form has begun to generate interest around the NRL as clubs assess their outside-back options for next season.

Best to judge Benji on the things that he has actually said and done this year rather than what some journo has cobbled together.

I reckon she would actually have less of an idea than the average Tigers fan.

Wonder if a guy like Ben Hunt, who comes of contract Nov 1 could be tempted to come here for 27, 28 if he can't get a contract at Brisbane? Although those kinds of signings typically don't pay off for us...
