- Michael Gordon (Wing and Goal Kicker)

- Agnatius Paasi (Prop or Second-row)
- Russell Packer (Prop)
- Jack Stockwell (Prop)
- Kane Evans (Prop)
- Nelson Asofa-Solomona (Second-row)
- Aidan Guerra (Second-row)

We are really lacking an experienced classy centre. If we could get either Chambers, Ferguson or Roberts that would be massive. Our best chance may be Gagai though. Gordon could be an OK signing for ONE year to play on the wing for his experience and goal kicking. He's a good backup for FB in case of injuries too. Alex Johnston could be an option for fullback and he would definitely leave the Rabbitohs to play fullback at any club.

Nelson Asofa-Solomona could be a great buy as he wouldn't break the bank. Guerra would be another massive signing. Paasi could be a good bench player who wouldn't break the bank. Russell Packer could be persuaded by his good mate Matulino to be our starting front rowers in 2018.

I find it hard to write this but does Rankin come into consideration for a wing spot due to his goal kicking?
 
Thinking a bit outside the square, Super Rugby is in dire straits at the moment, is there anyone that would be worth considering?

What goal kicking ? he struggles with the straight ones too mate

Rankin would have missed the one Dugan put over yesterday to level it
 
Really hope we can get someone like Russell Packer, either Luke Lewis or Ryan Hoffman and either Will Chambers or Dane Gagai

Actually I really think Jamal could be great if we got him leaner and really fit for next year. Would cost probably half Gagai or Chambers

Not a good role model and he shouldnt have been allowed to play NRL again

Between him and Tim Simona i say Simona was less guilty with harsher punishment
 
Apparently we are chasing Packer and Dugan.

Packer would be awesome.

Thoughts on Dugan ? I don't know what to think about that possibility tbh.
 
With tedesco leaving,im abit worried not having a genuine speedster in the backline,nofa not bad off the mark,but no-one with any genuine pace,very untiger like….
 
Russell Packer is a beast would form a formidable front row with Matulino. I would prefer him to Dugan. Throw massive money at Gagai he is a star and durable.

How good is Cleary I am impressed.

Beale is playing over in England.
I imagine most of the decent RU players here will find new homes domestically - they're struggling for talent, so four teams is plenty to accomodate all the decent players.
 
Hasn't Gagai stated his desire to stay at Newcastle???

Otherwise I am just shocked I have not heard any mention of his name???

I really feel the Tigers need a big name fullback. There spine doesn't have any huge game breakers at the moment so a Dugan, Hayne or Gagai type i think is a neccessity
 
Newcastle centre Dane Gagai has until June 30 to take up an option for another season at the Knights.it’s understood both the club and his management are comfortable renegotiating a deal if he decides to let his option pass. Worth close to $600k via Foxsports

If we were thinking rugby players, I would go for Folau. Teddy's money would get him and you would think he must be tiring of poorly performing Waratah and Wallabies teams. His contract is coming up as well.

I can't think of any other team that would have the cash to get him, apart from Newcastle of course.

Given his finance is a Kiwi, he may have been interested in the Warriors but they have Roger and he would only get enough money playing fullback.

The beauty of it is it would be easy to get TPAs for him.
 
As we need a fullback, and we're recruiting quality. Is it safe to say we should be targeting Lolohea,Dugan and Ferguson?
None of these guys are regular goal kickers,is there someone on the radar we don't know about?
