Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He was treated badly by Taylor and the club he revealed in an interview and don't think he would return to The Tigers.

For the life of me I can't understand why nobody has mentioned Sitaleki Akauola. I realise he is managed by Sam Ayoub, but we have to get over that problem one day. Akauola has turned into a real hard boy, just the sort of player we need a few of to came off the bench. To my recollection his problem was with JT and Mayer, certainly not with Ivan or Pascoe.
Also what's up with Tagataese or even Luke Lewis. No time for Latimore useless.
Tagataese even at 30 has three times as much grunt and ability than Seumanufagai will achieve in a lifetime.

Lewis was let go by Cleary at the Panthers , doubt he'd be signing him 5 years later …

How old is Luke Lewis? I saw Willie Manu still playing in the ESL the other day - maybe we can get him and Rhino too.

Tigers have officially sent an offer to guerra. 3 year deal worth approx 1.3 mil. (430k a season)

Will be interesting if we can nab him, will only strengthen our pack and will give Cleary more options for front rowers on the bench, as we'll have 3 80 minute back rowers in our starting side.

Solid player form has dropped in the past 12 months. Reasonable price for an edge back rower. Not sure our back row would have enough power with ET, McQueen, Guerra, Lawrence.

Add paasi pulu and CHN and that changes things. Nab 2 of those 3 and it's looking formidable

All are genuine 80 min 1st grade backrowers. i'd be happy with Guerra at that price and some solid Front Rowers.

We already signed an over-rated, one-dimensional forward in McQueen.
McQueen's not terrible and he's better than what we have… but Guerra? he is well past his best.

Beggars can't be choosers but surely we could do better.

mate if we jag corey hatawira and russell packer it would be a great pack.

Panthers cant sign them all.

CHN would be a sharp and astute signing

I sugested him before he made first grade, he would be great

Any update on Packer, Milne sg? If not what do you reckon our chances are.

I'd expect both to be decided during this "off week" no idea if they will sign or not at this stage but both have nice offers. Wouldn't be surprised to see lolo signed by the end of this week. Tigers are pushing hard for him

Mcqueen and guerra are similar. Guerra isnt in great form but a change always helps. Hes played origin which is no small thing.

The key is that the 3 backrowers play 80 minutes so we can rotate our frint row 4 times which would be unreal.

Assuming we get a front row haha
