Been calling for heleta to make his debut for a while now, its only a matter of time until he finds a better deal elsewhere. Pretty sure he started off as a centre then made the move to FB. From what I've seen in the few ISP games I've watched, hes been pretty impressive.

Yeah he will be the third centre gone in less than half a season! Not good for any team. Need a reliable depth signing soon, unless Tui or someone from ISP can step in? I really don't know.

He’s off contract at the end of the year. Money talks he would be a star in the ESL
Yeah he would, but why not wait until the end of the year? He is doing well in a team that is actually going places this season. Why not finish with the team and see how far they can go, then have a good send off at the end of the year. I don't understand why it has to be right now!
Because if the NRL backline does not include him (which he may have been told) he would be playing in ISP.
I wouldn't want to play there either. ESL here I come (if that is the scenario).

heleta has improved but kev on his worst day covers him even with just experience. this is not to say if kev is going we our leaving are stocks low on backs.

I thought Marsters was going to be good but as an impact 2nd rower, not an 80 minute centre. He was a tackle breaking freak in U20's and showed a great offload. I haven't seen the same signs from Heleta but yeah, he may rise to the occasion if given a shot. He's served a pretty long apprenticeship.

No I read it on the WTs section of league unlimited forum and passed it on. I gave it very little chance of being a goer as it was just a one liner and the poster did not seem confident. Anyway now seems it may have some legs

No not at all, we only offered him a one year deal at the last minute this year and I guess St Helens are offering him a deal beyond this year for probably double the money and most clubs will not stand in the way of a player if he can get a better deal elsewhere especially at the backend of there career

Fonua said he got a late call up and had in fact been dropped back to ISP. Therefore Kev was still NRL centre last week. So if Kev is moving on, it can’t be because he was being neglected here,
SO….....that means there must be a centre purchase in play that would force Kev’s Hand. I can’t see any other way this is playing out. Barba? Rona? Who knows? But surely someone........

Not necccessary, apparently he went Bach to Fiji for a family problem. Although you would think the club have something in mind. You don’t have three centres leave the club in a few months and do nothing

Well you would have to say that he does. Contract negotiations can be protracted.

Im sure he would do his job well if called upon. He's stuck around the lower grades long enough, gotta reward him eventually. I was disappointed when Chance Peni ended up leaving, dont want the same to happen to heleta
