South Sydney have sent out a statement confirming George Burgess is going nowhere. He will see out the remaining year of his contract. Big call given the money on offer from Parramatta. Hopefully, he doesn’t live to regret it.

When I saw they were throwing 700K pa at him thought it would be a done deal. Might need to up to 1 mil to play with Moses.

Souths probably said no go. Doubt he'd turn down that sort of coin. Plus if Wayne thinks he can win a premiership with souths, can't see him letting go of George early. Would be a key part in their team.

Apparently he is on 400k at the Rabbits so they must have blocked it. But I would imagine Russel has some interesting TPA's setup for the Burgess family.

That’s why Parra struggles, they throw big money at the wrong players. Burgess is a solid first grader but is very replaceable. Parra needs to be throwing big money at their spine, than look at the front row
No idea. If I'm having a guess, I'll say he'll be playing centre.
