Thoughts on Rhyse Martin? Playing super league, only 26, good edge backrower that kicks goals


The Dogs offloaded him for a reason. Great goal kicker but average backrower

He was offered to pretty much everyone, and no one took him.

Personally I would have liked him...he is as average as a few of ours, but can kick like an all time great. So, that would be a big plus. Won't be happening now though, has a decent deal at Leeds.

Who would you sign as of November 1?

Being realistic, there is no way in hell the Turbo bros are coming to us....

So, from that list, even the rorters will have trouble keeping all theirs....I would target Manu and Taukeiaho.

They are players we could go high for and get.

Worst one on the list will be Cody Walker...decent player, but failed in Origin and failed in the finals a few times. Wants 800 plus and is getting on a bit...

I can just see it now...Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Cody Walker on a 5 year $4 million dollar deal. CEO Justin Pascoe says signing an Origin player shows "how ambitious we are". Walker is believed to battling hamstring and structural issues in his back, but the Tigers believe he is worth the 5 year gamble....

Argh................it is scary how realistic that sounds! 🙂

Center / wing.

Hiroti and Britain BOTH in the state cup team of the year....both officially released by souths.

So, maybe both rumors are true. Lets see.

They would certainly add some spark to our line up. I’d be very happy if we could snare these three for next season, considering our cap. Would have to offload one or two of our big contract players first for this to happen though I imagine.

Hiroti is a fast, goal kicking winger with his size who played for both the Aussie schoolboys and nz u18s. Could certainly add something to the squad.
