Oliver Clark - I heard from an extended family member, this will be his last year playing NRL...he plans to retire and focus on running the family business....apparently the family are fairly well off.

Plodder

Yeah I am sure he has upside (somewhere) but I have really never rated Clark and he doesn’t even come onto my radar when picking the 2020 NRL side.

I think he gets a spot purely because we don’t have many other great options for front row, I’m hoping Alex Seyfarth really develops and earns himself a first grade spot by the end of the year because he’s a GIANT

Doesn’t look as big in photos

There’s photos of him towering over all our other players, if I knew how to post it here on my mobile I would ?

I remember when Sirro first packed into a Scrum after his time in Hawaii. He was so big he couldn't fit in the front row and had to play 2nd Row. Then along came Ian Roberts at Souffs and the era of the really big man began. Seyfarth is massive.

Saw a replay of League Legends on Fox this morning with Noel Kelly. Wow! Just Wow! He was telling the story of how people thought players were bigger on field. He said one day on arriving at a ground, a young boy pointed to him saying to his Dad "That's Noel Kelly Dad" The Dad said "No Son he's too small to be Kelly" Kelly would've been about the size of Mbye in that Pic if not shorter. But Tough, Tough, Tough!

Hopefully Seyfarth has a bit more ticker.

??

Same as Eisenhuth ?

What?

U saying Seyfarth is soft?

Yep

Aha, ouch.
That's a shame.

I haven't seen much of him.

Defo isn't in my 17 atm like some others.

I don’t rate the kid from the C cup games I’ve watched .

Kids only young and got plenty to work on still, if any coach can get the best out of a fella his size it’s Madge. He’s a great defender and can play big minutes, just needs to up his aggression in attack a bit.

This is him on the far right

I remember when Sirro first packed into a Scrum after his time in Hawaii. He was so big he couldn't fit in the front row and had to play 2nd Row. Then along came Ian Roberts at Souffs and the era of the really big man began. Seyfarth is massive.

Eisenhuth is tal too.
Massive cat tho.

Hopefully Seyfarth has a bit more ticker.

That’s why he reminds me of Eisenhuth

Rare to just up the aggression ... you either have it or your don’t ( mongrel)

Time will tell if he kicks on ..

This Alex Seyfarth on the far right - giant who I hope gets a first grade spot sometime this year

Remember when players would still be flat slugs from their holidays this time of year? Even Packer looks trim.

Could just be confidence. He’s also a lot bigger than he was last year. Was selected in NSW U20’s as well.

Just looking forward a bit to 2021 .....we are going to have some more cap space and spots in the top 30 at the end of this season, so how do we keep improving, and who do we want to bring into, our squad?
I reckon if Frizell is any chance of leaving the Dragons we should make him a real priorty. He is a guy that would really be great for us. His aggressive style could really bring our younger forwards on and he could be a real leader in our pack. Obviously we will want JAC or some speedy winger. And we will need a quality fullback if AD ends up moving to 5/8 to take over from Benji.
I assume a few of our development players and possibly juniors will come into the 30 taking the place of a few players that aren’t looking like contributing.

Wow. Interesting.
Neil Begovich 2.0

If Clark is seriously planning on retiring why are we bothering to put the time into him

Let him go now and put our time and efforts into the future of the club

Harry Grant to weststigers I think is a kick in the guts for Billy Walters and Jake Simpkin , absolute show of no faith in these 2

Simpkin is a development player, Walters is cover and Liddle is injured. How is it a kick in the guts?
