What does the average fan think Tigers lack currently? Speed and toughness / mental resilience. Proctor is tough as nails and I don't think his form has dropped off since he left Storm, he's just playing with a substantially poorer team.

Is Proctor David Fifita? No. Is he as good as any of our current backrowers? Almost certainly yes. Would he bring a different skillset to our current backrowers? Yes.
It's not the same as McQueen, who was long-term injured and on a long and slow run of dropped form. Proctor is still a guaranteed selection for the Kiwis. And you'd like to think from that association, Madge really knows who he is talking about, if this is going to happen.
A Madge-type player, tough, fit and good culture, to compliment the building of Madge's team... and half the fans say "nope". Kills me.
