my mate told me it's pretty much a done deal and that they were talking about a swap trade but he just wasn't aware which player from the Titans it was, Zillman interesting…..hasn't he got some back issues?

I'm not happy with this hope somehow this doesn't go through.

Yeah I don't get this if true. The only place Zillman will be playing is on the wing if he comes.

Sorry state of affairs trying to offload a good Centre 2 weeks before the Season gets underway.
 
Im sick & tired of us getting rid of players & we still pay part of their contract. This has been going on for ages, Had a gut full.

I had to look up to see if he kicked goals, but nope.
 
I honestly can't understand how this move works, particularly if we need to get rid of Simona due to cap issues. Zillman was signed as almost a marquee player, but has carried injuries and generally failed to deliver.
So they would have to pay all of Simona's contract and the vast majority of Zillman's. How much room do they have under the cap?
 
The only way this could possibly be good is if we sign our Top 4 , plus Nofo on long term contracts on the back of this. Anything short of that is purely bad management.
Sadly I think it's bad management, if Simona goes.

It is possible this is to free up cap for a contract upgrade this year for one of the big 4.

only reason we would be getting Zillman is if Teddy is leaving! Otherwise it would be almost as stupid as when we signed Anasta!

Have heard the same but thought it was too stupid to take seriously, boy was I wrong.
 
I'd take that Roberts Davis kid over Zillman everyday of the week. He looks very quick from what i saw at the nines. Nice insight Mighty WT

If Tedesco leaves (God forbid) with the money we will have left over, I think we'll be aiming a bit higher than William Zillman.
