What magical exit door do other clubs have they we don't?

Here is Roberts, contracted till 2021 to Souths, they told him he is unwanted next year and off his merry way he goes....

We have Packer, Mbye and Reynolds, contracted till 2021 and 2022 we tell them they are unwanted next year and beyond, yet they can't seem to find the exit door like Roberts has.....far out

You just can't tell a contracted player he is gone. Souths have to pay him out.

Well 15 other clubs would have too, Souths on the other hand...

All fine for Souths to show him the door, but will he walk through. In that respect Tigers and Souths are no different, player acceptance or otherwise, that you can show plenty of folks the door, but it's no good if nobody wants to pick them up.

Pay him out within the cap, that is, unless you can get them to 'somehow' agree to walk away from their contract and forfeit the rest of the money. Large money bet would fix that.

He was signed with us, played some trials in 2018 and was looking decent. Got booted before even playing a game for doing drugs. Has bounced around clubs ever since, it’s a shame cause he’s not a bad player
