Top props are between 750-1.1m and some of those are nearing renewals so some will demand higher. You would have compare him with other props and weigh up age and inexperience compared to his current ability and his potential to bring the club what it needs.
Alright then, this is my final offer, 800k~ 4yrs plus the tpa's I've already mentioned plus 200pcs of Woolworth Lego collectables.
If he accepts less (like no lego) then it's win win win

Name one prop earning 900k.

Isn't RCG on $850k?
AFB and Lodge are both getting big money.

Jason Taumalolo 950k
David Fifita 1.1m
Tiny Fa'asuamaleaui 900k
Jake Trbojevic 900k
Andrew Fifita 850k still
Addin Fonua-Blake 850k
Couple more could be bothered.
Payne has will be paid out and upgraded.
The top props will demand more in new contract negotiations than what they're on.
I didn't say pay 1.1 for Stef, geez

Looks bigger in photos. Getting that Civoniceva vibe about this young man. Wishing him well for the year ahead.

Looks custom made to be a prototype prop.

Like you mentioned, Petero.
Haas is the same.

Hard looking players.
Strong heads.

Payne Hass would be pretty close.

He's on 750k.

Officially. The cost of living in Brisbane would allow for players to accept less. The new Redcliffe Club will push prices up in Brisbane for retention of players which can only be a good thing for the NRL.

If that’s the going rate, Stefano would be be we worth no more than 550

Which is roughly what we've offered him

Where did you hear we offered $550k to Stef.
I gave you more than 1 player as requested. Where is everyone getting 1.1 inference that is what we should be offering him, I said a high ball of 800k ~4yrs which is a great deal for a player that most of this forum including me are of the opinion you can build your forward pack around.

Not worth more than 700k at this point in his career. Put him on a scale if we have to. Throw in bonuses for SOO and Rep jerseys.
The nrl is still on a reduced cap?
Give him 5years. If he gets his bonuses he could be making 850k plus origin and test wages

Tigers are not in a position to offer less $800K 5 year contract and
Give him $800K this year as well

Stef needs a protege thats better than good,to help him on/off field, overthe next few years .a Q n A a good manager would ask

Crazycat 1m was not a suggested offer, I started that and a said a JT type deal.
The longer the deal the lesser the money and vice versa is what I want.
800k~5yrs is the long term working back 700k~3 yrs.
800k is top dollar for an inexperienced footballer but in 5 yrs 800k won't be top dollar.
That's all I'm saying on this matter.

Brisbane prices have gone through the roof. Not so much a factor anymore I reckon

if we only offer Stef a 3 year deal we will need to pay a premium 800k or 850k
if we offer him 5 year deal we might be able to get him for 750k
However Politis usually gets who he wants so probably waiting for a Roosters offer to replace JWH

I think 5 years would help with securing other players down the track , I believe this kid is the real deal just got that feeling , players will come if we Improve and guys like Stef will improve and so will our team , with the 2 top line players who we have secured for 2023 could also sway him to stay long term as he may well see what we are building , I think Stef and one more top grade player signs on we solid in 2023 , but I also feel 2022 will be pretty good , Tigers 7 th

Thanks for a decent comment jedi, I value them because you put effort into it.
You and I think a bit differently on this one.
Your way is the norm these days and favors the player.
I want him for 5yr+
If we were to pay him 700ish a season by the 5th yr that would have inflated to approx 800 anyway
I now it's a lot more but the principle is reducing.
In your way, at the end of his 3 year contract he will, providing he lives up to all the expectations, demand between 800-1m anyway, so with my way he's still under contract when he's worth more.
We may not even be able to afford to upgrade him then if our salary cap isn't sorted out.
We have so many players that come off contract at the end of 2023-24 [most of our side in fact].
The only thing we would have to insure is performance/injury clauses.
Players like Stef don't come around too often.
When they do come our way they usually are at the end of their careers and we pay overs anyway eg. Packer, Mataleno [cant spell]
I'd rather pay top dollar and build our team around Stef

You just listed a bunch of locks and a second rower, a prop who a club desperately regrets signing and finally one prop who the warriors paid massive overs to get and retain.

So from your original post, no props get 900k and one desperate club paid 850 for a prop. So thanks for proving my point
