So does that means we have to sign 3 players now before June 30, it doesn’t matter that we have 27 now when March 1st we needed to have 29 on the books ?

I suspect we will upgrade two of Garner, Drinkwater or Sironen unless someone we really want becomes available. Thats probably what I would do. Put cheapies the books for this year and bring forward some of the contract values of other players to this year to free up space in future years.

I’m sure the DT stories about the ‘drug use epidemic in the NRL’ are being written as we speak.

What a pity, hope he gets help. These things can take hold quicker than people realise and don’t leave anywhere near as fast. A friend and I always wondered why he couldn’t get a consistent run at Saints and why they’d let him go. Makes sense now.

Yeah willow agree,I think he is a reasonable player,but I wouldnt go overboard in regard his worth…

He had an extremely good year for Parra last year. Great goal kicker, fast and plays really direct.

I would go as far as saying he is the best player in the comp who can fill the 1-6 position and do it well

Exactly and whats more the guy is a winner. Its in everything he does.

Taane Milne, what a dope, as far as Gutherson goes too much of a risk injury wise.

Gutherson would fit right into the team first ethos, so meets the main requirement and has a great all round game to boot.

Disappointed that Taane has not kicked on with WT, but he wouldn't be the only one in our squad that has been sampling party accessories that are used by the majority of youth.

Its hardly a great field. Im not sure that any of them get a bus pass. The best players in that list dont seem like Cleary players.

Maybe Solomone Kata?

Either we look at moving Lolohea or as someone else said have a good look at England.

Kata worth a look, might help having a few ex warriors on our books. But that list doesn't make for great reading and the 2018 list is just as bad.

Kennar has been going well at Souths, Kata is good but real defensive issues, Tuala has a big future, I doubt the cowboys will let him go.

I’d consider Michael Jennings depending on his asking price. Heard he has 2 years in his favour at the Eels after this year. So he won’t go anywhere unless he is offered more than that 2 yr deal.

Defends well, still got a bit of toe. We could do a lot worse.

I can't remember the last time I watched a game where Jennings played and was a standout. He's long past it imo.
