Tamou set leave Cowboys

Having a look at Tamous offensive stats they don't seem that bad, cracks 100m in all his games although his defense isn't all that great, missed a few tackles in each game.

You can tell he is not happy - his body is going through the motions but his head isn't there.

A bloke who is a SOO player should be able to rise above that and show up to play every week

Your getting paid extremely well to play a game you love ffs , a million blokes would love to replace you

Easy said happy - but there have been plenty of these young guys who can't handle things emotionally.
Sometimes, no matter how much you try, your head won't let your forget what's been troubling you.

If a 7 year pro who has played the game at the highest level can't focus for 80 minutes we certainly don't need or want him

Would you agree ??

Kurt Cobain was a millionaire who blew his brains out.

Your job and the money you make doesn't always make you immune to feeling like shit about life. That's not to say, Taumou is feeling that way, but if he was, there are precedents that have been set previously.

Okay, so we can tick off another current Australian rep that the forum doesn't want.

Have you seen him play lately,he let in the first 2 tries last night, and we have plenty of depth at prop,it would be money wasted we could have used to buy a centre.

I never said we did need him, happy - initial comment was that everyone seems to disregard anybody with runs on the board and hopes all the young kids will kick on.
In regards to focusing - depends on how troubled you are.
The fact that he's trying to get out means somethings amiss.

He goes missing in the big games just like Origin ( beats me how he even got that far ).
He made Lui look like a gun defender last night .

When the going gets tough he goes missing IMO

To be fair, I'm certain Dragons and Sea Eagles would be throwing far more serious coin at him than we would.
I've got him at either of these two clubs.

A change of club may well be what he needs to get his career back on track, but I reckon we have better props here at the moment. I'd be happy if St George concentrated all their efforts on securing Tamou, so we can get Scott instead, as he is more of the type of player we need.

That's a big no thanks. Totally over rated.

Spot on wd. He had 1 above-average season 3 or so years ago and has been a flop ever since. We ain't got the cash to be wasting on players like that.

Some players have a decent season, then are not able to re produce that form for the next few years.
Would not be surprised if Manly go after him.

That's the thing though Happy, he should never have been in the SOO team. His not existent lateral defence cost NSW a couple of tries last year!

how can you blame him - they're supposed to win the comp every year - the favourites & look at them now

Manly are chasing Tom and Sam Burgess plus Maloney.
