TAUPAU...

I haven't seen him playing at his best in the last few games, not bad but not at full throttle, however, tonight he was in similar form to the test match he played in against Australia, a great effort.

i keep thinking that he's gonna burn out soon or that he's gonna have a massive brainsnap or that he will have a very bad game but nah, ever since we signed him- he's just killed it for us week in week out

it just feels so wierd to see someone in a tigers jumper doing what marty does so consistently.

My misses thinks im a bit weird because I told her I have a man crush on him.

Tonight just made me love him that little bit more. What a beast this man is. Give him a DCE style contract for life. We just simply cannot lose this man ever.

Ease up Tuiaki,GEO will get jealous, the last thing we need on the forum is a cat fight between you two… :roll

Had a great game tonight and was dominant for the majority of time on the park… I still feel he needs to play bigger minutes though if he wants to continue at 13.

I cant recall the WT having a player like Marty before... I hope we can keep him!

I LOVE the way when it turned to push and shove, he shaped up and the bloke he had collar tied packed darkies on the spot… owned the b!tch on the spot and oozed alpha all over him.

That sounds messy!

Where did Marty grow up as a kid?

For most of the game, watching him he looks like he would be a sensational Number 8 in Rugby.

Surprised the All Blacks haven't been knocking down his door!

I have heard a few articles stating that Woodsy is the heir apparent to lead the team. I kind of think Marty may be a better choice. He has the rare combination of being aggressive but yet seems to be both intelligent and articulate.

I think he is a natural leader who would lead by example and on yesterday's efforts, the boys will follow.

It's hilarious how he shapes up knowing he can throw it then laughs at them when they cringe. Love this man.

Marty is sensational on the field and yet such a humble and kind man….

+1 . Friend of mine got a Photo taken with Marty at work
Said he was the most genuine famous person he has met.

Many first grade footballers think they are way too good for general public and gems like Marty are rare to find.

People are bagging our small guys getting run over in defence, last night proved that we can reciprocate it easily.

His best game so far this year, no doubt. Very impressed with his work rate, his minutes are increasing on field also which can only be a positive.

My mate texted me cause he's brother is a Bulldogs supporter and he said look at those Bulldog supporters , so full of themselves . I had a laugh lol
