Taylan "Tiny" May

Mate you could say the same thing about high school education. Why aren't kids learning about relationships, financial management, dealing with stress, and other skills to deal with life?
My son is in Y9 at a state school and I am sure that he has been or will be availed all those options among others by the end of this year as part of his education.

School system is broken
Moreso caused by a funding system that egregiously favours private and particularly religious organisations that seldom have to provide for the needs intensive students, at the expense of the many overburdened public ones that are relatively flooded with them. The Mays attended one of them and had a weird upbringing.

That said, I tip my hat to any teacher, especially the ones with a too full classroom of young teenagers. One is hard enough.

Wy wife is primary school teacher and our young kids are at a public school. The curriculum is very outdated. I agree, in Brisbane especially it’s all very ‘which school’. It’s very dumb. I’ll become a catholic if I have to.

The legal system (For what ever reason) has said that May is innocent of allegations.

Lets focus on whether he is a good player and makes us a better team On and Off the field
The legal system does NOT ever declare that anything is innocent- they declare that you are NOT GUILTY of the charges as presented before the court. Small difference. Either way I am in favour of signing May- if the staff can see that he will bring value to the squad

My point was that we shouldn't be self righteous and always refer back to this last 12 or so months.

Tiger or Not, he is Not Guilty.

He's not been found guilty and as far as I'm concerned should be treated like any free citizen. What's the point of having these institutions in place if we're not going to respect the outcomes they produce?

He would be a great signing. No need to immediately start and we could give him a couple of months in reserve grade. If things keep going well in first grade, great. If we get any injuries or Doueihi starts to drop in form, then we've got a ready made replacement.

You started out saying this culture business is bullshit, then went on to explain how you built a culture, whether you like it or not.
You say, from reports, May sticks up for his mates. He beat his wife! WHAT?
Good teams don't take a punt on loose cannons because they're disruptive. Storm let Smith go for a reason, Manly and Warriors let AFB go for a reason, etc, etc. Dickheads bring teams undone.
Manly and Warriors did NOT let AFB go. He left Manly because he wanted to go live in NZ with family (heard it was also because he was involved in some heavy shit in Sydney). He also left the Warriors for the same reason to go home to Sydney.

Don’t spurt nonsense to get your bullshit point across, Taylan would be an awesome signing and many clubs have dickhead players in their teams and do much much better than us.

How did he leave Manly with time on his contract if they didn't let him go? And how did he leave the Warriors with time on his contract if they didn't let him go? Then you admit he was involved in "heavy shit in Sydney." Talk about spurting nonsense!

Faatape tries hard but we always look weak defensively when he is centre imo. You def get may as insurance. There's a big chance there's no bula this week who would you like to come into the back.line I know my preference

You worded it like they punted him because his character was bad in the dressing room. That isn't the case at all bud

Big call , AD was good and his kicking is very good so far , Star was good but that’s his first good game since he towed up Val Homes last year first game against cows , So a fit Taylan would be replacing Stat unless he starts to put those good games together week in week out
Physically, To'a has it all over Doueihi.

If he can find even a modicum of consistency, AD will be squeezed out in the event Taylan signs.

Parramatta's centres were one of their strengths yesterday considering the side they were able to field. Yet we held them extremely well.

Considering we've somewhat patched together our 3/4 line at the moment, I think we've done ok against two teams with strong centre pairings.

This week against the Dolphins, they'd be MAD to not attack Averillo's side every set. His edge can be deplorable at times.
