OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May

They always used to say that Len Killeen had 2 speeds slow and stop,a very slow winger for Balmain but he did help win us the 1969 premiership.
The slow and especially the stop parts were used extensively in that Grand Final win.

As for Taylan, he has made efforts to improve himself in recent months, so I will give him the benefit of my previously very considerable doubt for a while.

His rookie season which made everyone take notice of him was on the wing. He was lethal. Tackle busts galore with some great finishes.

After his injury and with the departure of Stephen Crichton, they moved him to centre. He was meh. From memory his defence was okay but his attack was lackluster.

Good wing depth. Needs a lot of work to be a good centre.
We could use a center who's defense is OK!

I'd be interested to know the process we went through to sign him. From all accounts, Benji and Richo met with him a couple of months ago and they were not impressed at all. Wonder what changed?

My biggest worry is if he screws up again, he could take Terrell down with him.

Under previous management i would have said this isn't the place for Taylan, but we seem to be all about family and connections. I think we have enough good influences in and around the club to pull him into line.
The one exception should be when we play the dogs, we let Tiny off the leash to harass the shit out of Galvin.

One more fmr Penrith winger and we unlock a feature! 5 Panthers!!

May is no certainty to deliver success. But id be happy with meh at this stage. AD is getting bashed up every week. He'll need to earn it on the training ground first tho IMO

Best wishes to Taylan and I hope the club is able to help him realise his potential both on and off the field.
I think it will take some weeks for him to lift his general and match fitness to the level needed and it will be interesting to see how hard he is willing to work for it.
He has very similar motor to his big brother , a naturally fit and strong human .. hopefully it will not take him long to hit his straps
