So we are whinging about Taylor holding back our young guns…..but when another player at another club has the kahunas to mention it....its classless and grubby

You cant have your cake and eat it too....I find it refreshing a player speaking his mind instead of the personalityless, robotic, monosyllabic cliched responses ala DCE...he knows hes on the outer and isnt afraid to speak his mind....Im sure brooks moses and teddy are feeling as he is.....wonder if Teddy is looking at the Raiders any differently now?

How long will these three...and Cherry eventually....put up with this ho hum footy>?
The offers will come......

Will depend on if they can see Taylor's big picture and want to be a part of the future of his big picture

Taupau will be the first to bail I reckon .. Looks like he's had a gut full already .

Dunno Hobbo

Taylor has turned Taupau into a starter which was the one thing he seemed to really want at the start of the season

Which in most games has dulled his effectiveness

That's why I've been asking when he's signed to, as he looks his mind is already on next year

Taupau has signed until the end of 2016 .
Not that it means much these days .

Could be a case of personal reasons or of course , a partners homesickness???

The top quote is not from me ?, but it somehow has my name on it.

If defence is JT only concern why does he even bother picking Moses and Brooks who are singled out by opposition attacks and struggle in this area.

Good question Chevy. No one really knows what goes through JT head. On the other hand , he doesn't have many other options, apart from bringing in Drinkwater.

Because those 2 need to learn to tackle something they didn't learn in the 20s

You are chosen to play in the nrl when your standards of football are above average, that includes being able to tackle???
Somenof you dopes really think this is kindergarten footy where we have to nurture adult players to tackle!????
This is the elite competion, if you cant win now or tackle or coach a team to attack and defend at the same time then GO AWAY

Good post Spirit. Totally agree. What's the point of having, under 20s and State cup if not to learn your trade in??? First Grade NRL should be where you graduate to, after passing all of your exams with distinction, in your prefered position.

To quote Chris Sandow

**“Everyone doesn’t pay to come and see me play structured footy.

“I think if he (Arthur) lets me play how I want to play, we’ll win more games.**

This seems a familiar story, new coach bringing in a structure that doesnt really suit his play makers, club languishing at the bottom of the table.

Thankfully Brooks and Moses have a little more class and wouldnt openly challenge Taylor in this way.

Word is Sandow might be in reserve grade this week lol.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that Arthur publicly declared he wants Kelly as his half and not Sandow, but sally Cap stops him from doing it. Was a poor thing for a coach to state publicly against the guy (Sandow) he has to rely on. Full credit for Sandow for sticking it to Brad Arthur, he deserved it.

I'm of the same viewpoint KS. It might not be a smart thing carreer wise for Sandow, but good on him for speaking up about it. He's always been the Eels scapegoat ever since he's been playing there. I guess he's had enough. I wish him all the best.

An experiment thats not working . Time to play Kapow off the bench JT.

Since we are lacking that X-Factor player , we have been relying to heavily on Taupau in my opinion .

I think him coming of the bench after 25 minutes would be the ideal thing as then he can play till half time , get a rest and continues for the 1st 15 minutes in the 2nd half .
Galloway and Woods can lay the platform the 1st 20 odd minutes , but we are very short in the 2nd Rowers anyway don't matter how you look at it . Jesse Sue has major issues with his defence IMO.
