Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership Coach Paul Stringer has named his Round 20 team to take on the Newtown Jets this Saturday, July 23 at Leichhardt Oval.

Kickoff for the match is at 3:00pm as Wests Tigers look to continue their strong run of form and extend their winning streak to four in a row against the fifth-placed Jets.

With victory this week, Wests Tigers could move as high as second on the ladder — depending on other results — with just six matches remaining in the regular season.

Stringer will welcome back several key players this week, with Manaia Cherrington returning from injury to start at hooker, pushing Jeremy Marshall-King to the bench.

Josh Addo-Carr also drops back from the first-grade side to start on the wing, with Esan Marsters moving back to the second row and Curtis Sironen to lock. Rod Griffin, JJ Felise, Dallas Graham and Manaia Rudolph have all been included on a six-man interchange bench.

Not televised Cunno as the Canberra v Warriors NRL game is on at that time..

but you will be able to listen on the net via http://steelesports.com.au/ if you can put up with Alby..
 
I like the look of the back row, 11\. Esan Marsters,12\. Tyler Cassel,13\. Curtis Sironen
I know it was said that JJ Felise wouldn't play NRL week in week out to avoid burn out at young age. I would have rested him and given Dallas Graham a run rather than having Graham as 18 man, unless he is injured.

You're not wrong. Hopefully they can roll the jets.
 
I don't like that they've moved SIrro out of lock. He was starting to play like a damaging wide running back rower and now he's going to be shifted to the middle again. ET has lock sewn up for the NRL so it's better to play Sirro on the edge and Cassell at lock to allow Sirro the opportunity to continue developing for the role he'll need to play is he's going to play NRL again.

A strong side, which should win. I'll get down to LO if i can to cheer the boys on!

i don't mind him playing at 13.
If he see's ET as role model and try's to model is game on ET's or similar style of game. Then if ET gets injured, we have a ready made replacement. without shuffling the NRL forward pack around.
Siro has a passing game and can tackle. just needs to get his workrate up and that wasn't happening when he plays wider.

Gee you'd have to say no and he'll play the full 80, unless there's further instructions given to the coach…Wonder how Cherrington would be feeling?

Happy, if he's in first grade. Don't think Edwards is ready to play hooker at NRL level after just 30 mins in his life…

:roll Curtis and his guys are better than the other blokes. At least they are legit westies. I'm originally from hinchinbrook. got to love westies! (Now I'm in Perth - as westie as u can get)!
