Blore is nowhere near ready to start in FG. Doesn't have the match fitness and would be seriously gassed after 10 minutes.

Pick any 3 forwards who can run 100m + in the right direction, that would be a start.

We need a lot more from our middle in terms of output.

Sharks lost but they had 5 pigs crack the 100m mark. Dogs had 3 or 4. I picked this game because these aren't great sides but they always try. Can't cop bludgers any more. I'm also struggling to understand how no one in the club could know who the bludgers are?
It seems like some think we tanked yesterday.

So, pick whoever will have a dig as the season is gone. The rest should see a cardiologist and get medical retirements for having no ticker.

He's an introvert and being under constant scrutiny is probably messing with his head. I know this isn't satisfactory but I'd like to see something changed to try and help him.

I think Madden needs to come in to 7 - Brooks needs to be in reggies to regain some confidence. At the moment he just seems at a total loss as to what options to take.

I've been a Brook's supporter, but realistically Luke has lacked confidence since Madge became our coach.

Brooks was a far better player in 2018, particularly his kicking game. He had 22 forced drop outs. Last year he had 6. This year he's had 1, after 7 games.

Both Balmain and the Magpies have had some diabolical teams over the years but they always had a serious dig even if outclassed.More than a few yesterday raised the white flag and it was not the young blokes at fault.
I dont want to see any fluff articles this week just 17 players wearing our jumper committed to perform and not give up.

Just before the game tell Zane Musgrove that the opposition forwards are all sleeping with his wife. Any middle forward that does not average 25m for every 10 minutes on the field has to walk home then listen to an hour of weight lifting advice from Daine Laurie.

I'm not a Nofoaluma fan but it's not his fault we lost that game and who would you replace him with. In relation to his defence it was crap last year and has always been crap but we signed him for another 4 years... Just that emblem son he will be our Mansour in a few years time.
We have nobody else so he stays in the team
We probably need Liddle and Simpkin in the side for some spark so put Mmbye as a centre and put Doyhie in the other centre spot

Agree with a lot of these. We don't want too much positonal shuffling.
Get rid of Brooks and lets see how Madden goes - NSW Cup backline sees a lot of the ball. Liddle back in the side would give us some spark out of dummy half (assume 14 would be someone else). Like Blore but may be one week too early.

I'd be very surprised if there are too many changes tbh...It'll be the old cliche "Players redeeming themselves" or "They owe it to the fans.." Ultimately unless the new (new) players are familiar with the plays and train with the squad, you are sending them on a trip to nowhere..Wholesale changes have just been a merry go round based on the lesser of 2 evils...sigh!

Nofa is one of the worst defensive wingers in the comp, is smallish and not particularly fast...and we will be paying him near rep level money when he is 32.

Just remember folks, development players and reserve graders can't play until round 10. Unless someone like Cooper or Fitzgibbon is upgraded to our 30 before then they won't be playing.

Upgrade Fitzgibbon to Top 30 in the next 30 minutes then put him on the wing in NRL this weekend - the guy has scored 2 terrific tries in the past 2 games with his pace and absolutely smashed a Big Bopper close to the line to save a certain try yesterday.... he is our redemption on losing Ado-Carr!
Move Tommy into the centre’s, at least he tries hard yesterday .. the Kyle Lovett style move into the centres for Chee Kam was an abject failure!
Roberts (the Jet) needs a rocket up him but I think he’s come good when we Madge finally dumps Brooks to get slick service out to Roberts so he has some room to move ....
