When was the last time we had 3 Tigers (or Magpies) named in the same SOO starting line up?

Well done to call three of our Blues Reps, and most importantly I hope none of them gets injured as we approach the back end of the season.

Sirro, Benny and Blocker around '91 or so would of been the last time I'd say.
Massive congratulations to Teddy, thoroughly deserved champ. Now just sign on the dotted line to be a Tiger for life please.

Big achievement for the WTs have 3 players make it. Congrats to all three.
Not to sure when Wayne Pierce had his last NSW game?Your probably correct there Fade To Black. It been a 25 years since then. We are building nicely now that all these 20 yrs that debut in 1st a few years back are now hitting the 22-24 yr old age. Sue and Ava are both maturing in the right direction.

Not recently, but quite a few times over SOO history:

1980 - Bob Cooper, Jimmy Leis, Greg Oliphant, Rod Morris
1981 - Terry Lamb, Garry Dowling, Rod Morris
1984 - Garry Jack, Wayne Pearce, Steve Roach
1985 - Garry Jack, Wayne Pearce, Steve Roach, Ben Elias, David Brooks (game 3)
1986 - Garry Jack, Wayne Pearce, Steve Roach
1988 - Garry Jack, Wayne Pearce, Steve Roach, Ben Elias, Scott Tronc
1990 - Steve Roach, Ben Elias, Bruce McGuire, Paul Sironen, Bob Lindner, Steve Jackson (game 3 – no Blocker in game 3)
1991 - Steve Roach, Ben Elias, Paul Sironen, David Gillespie, Steve Jackson, Bob Lindner (game 3 – no Siro in game 3)
1992 - Paul Sironen, Ben Elias, Tim Brasher, David Gillespie, Bob Lindner
1993 - Paul Sironen, Ben Elias, Tim Brasher, David Gillespie (game 2, no Benny in game 2), Terry Hill (game 3), Jason Taylor
1994 - Paul Sironen, Ben Elias, Tim Brasher
2016 – Rob Farah, Aaron Woods, James Tedesco

Well deserved and it is great to see that injuries earlier in his career have not derailed his talent.

Could be in NSW colours for a long time and hopefully wears the green and gold too.

Becoming one of my all time favourite players.

We will miss him against the bulldogs and hard to replace.

Good to see James Tedesco get into the team. He has been playing extra well and deserves his chance at the big time. Have a good game.

Queensland focusing their training sessions on Tedesco according to press.

Great move Laurie, give Queensland a good look at your best attacking weapon in a dead rubber.

But he would hardly be thinking "I'll save him until next series and maybe catch Qld by surprise", Laurie needs NSW to win tonight or else he probably won't be coach next year to worry about it. It's not as if Qld don't know what to expect from Tedesco anyway.
As they say with all champion footballers " you know what they are gonna do and you do everything possible to stop them but you can't ". That will be Tedesco.
NSW have known for a decade what Thurston is gonna bring to the table but very rarely have they ever been able to do anything to stop it.
Go Teddy
Go Blues

Every NRL team's focus is on Teddy. A friend of mine watched the Rabbits train prior to the Tigers game and they had a young fast (assumed to be U20s player) running opposing plays as Teddy with all the players yelling Tedesco, but a fat lot of good it did Souths as they lost both games to the Tigers this year!!

Teddy could be the best foil ever…

Blowing a gale, freezing cold and up against the three best kicking games in the NRL in JT Cronk and Smith. Going to be one hell of a test, lets hope his team mates can give him plenty of protection. I have no doubt he will go on and be one of the best, but tonight he could be in for a rocky start

On my way to see his debut. Sitting behind the goal posts I think so should get a good look at him.

Wishing Teddy all the best with a double double 2 Tries 2 Try assists…

Anyone else have a bad feeling? All the press and push for Teddy, all the focus QLD have on him, i just have a bad feeling it's not gonna be his night. Preying my gut is wrong.

I personally couldnt care less of we win, i just want James to have a cracker.

He's too good to have a bad game. I hope he kills it and cements his spot for next year. Go teddy and go the mighty blues!!!!

Before anything else, he just needs to get through the game unscathed. We're finished if he goes down.

He doesn't need to be wished luck, Ted makes his own.

Rip in.
