My opinion on this is clubs are trying to force us to pay top dollar for Teddy to stop us from re-signing other players. As we are aware Nofo, Sironen and Koroibete are coming off contract and will most likely be targets for other clubs. Im pretty sure Nofo lives out in the eastern suburbs already.

To solve all this I would be happy to lose Koro, Moltzen, BMM and Lawrence to retain Teddy, Nofo and Siro. We still have Hoeter, Moses, Seve and some good backrowers in the 20s for the future.

I'm even happy to lose sirro even though on potential I rate him higher than any of our forwards. Teddy and nofo should be top priorities coz IMO backs like them are harder to find than a good forward.

Nofo and Teddy have the same manager I think, the signings might be announced together.

People can ring the club to have a [automatically edited] about a re-signing thats not to their timetable…..yet they'll [automatically edited] and moan online about the membership webpage being like a moody woman, but the idea to ring the club doesnt enter their mind then

Yeah I agree Ink , but signing Tedesco in the next week or two would be the perfect time for all involved imo

Especially if we knock over the Warriors , the club is on a bit of a roll keep it going with more positives

Would help to knock the Balmain Leagues Club rumours on the head as well for all current and future recruitment

Guys i havent wanted to say anything in case i am wrong but i was chatting with a Rooster board member at a party last Saturday who is good mates with my girl friend and we were talking about ageing players etc etc and we were talking about Anasta and then got on to Mini and he said that "Sheck is an unbelievable fullback" and he made out that the Roosters were looking for him to play more fullback this year especially if Mini isnt cutting the mustard… he never even mentioned Teddy... and that was only last Saturday (9 days ago).... so i might be wrong but i think the Roosters want RTS to take over there... also dont forget Teddy has only proven himself this year... last year he wasnt breaking any records and he has had a serious knee injury... so in my opinion i cant see how the Roosters have changed their mind soooo quickly on making Teddy their fullback when most coaches and clubs (especially the good ones) would have had a succession plan in place... especially for fullback at the Roosters because of Mini's age... i reckon its a beat up... but you never know... and i would hate to be wrong... cheerio

Agree we have a great pack of forwards with a few to come back from injury.

We need to keep Nofo and Teddy , remember Anasta will be retiring , Moltzen will be let go as we have no use for him and BMM is being shopped around and I also believe it will be hard to keep Koro.

There is a lot of negotiating going on behind the scenes to free up cash for our Juniors.
That is why we have not heard anything yet , Manly are also going after Siro so be prepared to loose a few but Im hoping its not Teddy and Nofo.

Sue is signed for 3 yrs, and Simona for 2\. Better off concentrating on those that are off contract

Roosters said something along the lines of

We are not interested, if RTS and Tedesco were both off contract at this time Sheck would attract more interest, he is our fullback.

Roosters might not be interested but there is still Penrith, Canberra, Gold Coast, Bulldogs, Parra, Storm, Cowboys, Sharks etc.
