I was pole-axed when he signed for the Raiders and i felt awful…..and I went on like a guy that had just been given the axe by his gf....and I make no apology for it......supporting the tigers makes me go loopy...and I love it for that.

Now that he has come back...like the jilted bf all is forgiven and lets get into bed!!!

If by talk sense you mean talked him into reneging i call bs. Farah said himself that he pulled Tedesco aside at training cos he seemed depressed and Tedesco confided that he didn't want to go, and Farah told him to go away and have a think. I don't think at any stage he encouraged him to break the contract.
 
Has it been confirmed that Tedesco has signed the contract with us? And if he has, have the terms changed or is it the 4 year deal?

Yeah 4 years still

They asked if the same deal was still on the table and Mayer said yes

Obviously it still would need to be ratified by the NRL

So now we're going to turn it into us being a bf whose gf was prepared to walk out on him for another man, but cos he couldn't buy the ring or house she wanted, she decides she wants to stay with you and you take her back. I'm pretty sure desperate would be a word that comes to mind to describe that guy.

I'm pretty sure "b0ll0cks" would be a word that comes to mind to describe what you just wrote . What are you saying? That the Tigers should get all sniffy and tell Tedesco they're not re-signing him because doing so makes the club look less manly?

No, what i meant to add was that everyone on here whose bagged him but now love him again are like the boyfriend who went out and told his mates he didn't love her anyway and she was crap in bed, and all the other stuff guys go on about, but then when she comes back battering her eyelids, everything he told his mates counts for nothing and she's the greatest girl in the world again.
 
108 pages…mega thread for sure....the biggest I have seen on here!

Now that Tedesco is staying...I'd like to see this thread slowly leave the "hot topics" section of this forum.......

Lets focus on Tedesco playing for us for the next 3-4 years rather than his contract saga which is now effectively over....
 
Yeah thats true …........ it was just sickening the way some of them went on ....... although hardly surprising in some cases.

Silly analogy. No one bagged his abilities but were angry he deserted us. He has come back so nows its all good. No inconsistency in welcoming him back.
