The Ashes 2015

Everyone is upset atm, but everything will be rosey again when the Aussies go through the summer undefeated against the might of the Kiwi's and Windies. Until they go overseas again. I've never seen an Aussie side this inept in foreign conditions. Which is why no amount of 5-0 whitewashes on home soil will ever see this side come in a bulls roar of the Warne-McGrath era, or surpassing SA as the no 1 test side. They're flat track bullies. They're that hopeless away from home that it will take all of their ability to beat the Bangers in October.

Sounds like they had the ball moving around a fair bit. Were the Aussies not playing it late enough?

the batting coach,divenuto,must be feeling crook in the gut.

apart from batting weaknesses to the swinging ball, team harmony would not appear to be great.

i quite like michael clarke,but i dont think teammates do. dont know why.

brad haddin wasnt treated very well, mitchell marsh was unlucky to be dropped and adam voges was very lucky to get another start.

so it all amount to a team getting rolled for 60.
 
Spot on CB. Just about every dismissal was bat infront of pad. This team has forgotten how to bat. Seriously, being a technical coach at that level is stealing money. There isn't much to tell blokes who have made it that far. The coaches get good coin for doing not much and should all be sacked immediately for this rubbish. If you're going to take the credit for success you have to take the responsibility for the failures.
 
Problem is we were all probably lauding the coaching staff after the World Cup. You have to take the good with the bad. In any case I think you'll find heads will roll after this series. Aussies don't like losing at the best of times, especially to the Poms and in this manner. You know you're in the proverbial when Lyth scores more than anyone in your side.

They are far too inconsistent though and this team has long relied on one big score in the innings instead of everyone chipping in and having a go.

Again, without having watched the game, sounds like we missed Mitch Marsh, especially as a genuine fifth option with the ball.
 
Too much junk cricket in my opinion

England players are used to coping with these pitches and conditions in the county system

Many of our batsmen commit too early to what shot they will play because of their footwork and having hard hands

We have one batsmen who plays the ball late and that is Rodgers

The only pitch in Australia that is remotely like these conditions is Brisbane but with extra bounce

We are going down , the Poms have found our weakness and are pummelling us with it

Nailed it. This is why teams are putting up rubbish totals on par with the semi-professional days of uncovered wickets. Imagine these bloke batting on a deck that had taken 2 hours of rain without a cover on it? They have no survival instinct. When it gets hard they drop their shoulders and give up. Very disappointing bunch.
 
There was nothing wrong with the pitch, Root showed that. As soon as they lost 3, they disintegrated mentally, believing they were on a mine field. Ironic, given this team supposedly relies on mental toughness and breaking down oppositions.

Because when I built my home, I just installed Foxtel. Was a tight arse and thought "got Fox, don't need an aerial now," didn't bank on channel nine stiffing me and putting the Ashes on their second channel.

You can't get GEM on satellite. Already asked Foxtel. Only available to cable subscribers. Same as 7mate.

I get Gem /7mate etc through the Austar box via the antenna , all on the one remote !

Antennas are cheap mate … You can do it !!!
