i recall another game around 2003 or 2004 at Campbelltown Stadium , Newcastle was giving us a flogging 26-0 or something can't remember ,we nearly left at half time and came back and beat them by 2 points , was awesome they had an unbelievable side Johns , Buderus , Peden , Mark Hughes , Mathew Gidley .
Does anyone recall this game? and can correct me?

It was 2002, we were down 24-0 and 32-12 just after half time, and Owen Craigie put on a clinic. It was Kevin Mcguiness' come back game from his drug suspension and he scored the match winner off a Craigie grubber. Joey didn't play.

First and last time I switched the TV off

I think I turned off the TV at 32-6 and turned it back on ten minutes later

I recall hugging all the season ticket holder's around me  , like it was a Semi Final game  , we used to celebrate moments like this those days  and soon could be doing the same if we don't unite and pull in the same direction

What about the game against the Panthers when we lead 31-8 and got run down. I was watching that game on delay, Hoppa did the peoples elbow as a post try celebration. When it got to 31-8 i actually decided to turn the radio on and hear what the score ended up, only to hear Hadley pouring praise over the Panthers winning 32-31\. I think someone was looking over me at that moment and made sure i turned the radio on and heard the score, as opposed to sitting there and watching it slowly turn into a horror movie.

We really should have made the 8 that first yr. So many games we lost we should have won.

Can remember some shockers that have cost us Top 8 GNR's is one

2004 v The Broncos when Pattycakes has a simultaneous touch denied

2008-2009 Newcastle game when someone passes from the ground and they score (Could of been Cory Paterson actually )

2006 v Canberra at Campbelltown when Canberra spent the whole 9 minutes off side in GP

They are the killers

Was at both those last two games…left both feeling like smashing something, bleeding fingernails and a migraine

that game stood out to me for two reasons

1\. dwyer's hit.
2\. payten, gibbs, fulton, heighno etc. pressuring the kicker on every set and every tackle. roosters i thought had much better opportunities to get the FG but our forwards were amazing that day.

What about the disallowed try to Ellis cause Benji had a scrap with Mitchell Pearce after he played the ball. Shayne Hayne - been giving it to us ever since. Nearly killed me that game and copped a razzing from the Roosters fans all the way to the car.

That game still hurts.
I also find the game against Parramatta in 2009 hard to watch.. For memory both teams were competing to get the final spot in the top 8\. It turned out to be Benji Vs Hayne. Also the game Tuiaki got injuried.

I reckon you could whip a WTs fan 100 lashes we wouldnt flinch got thick skins over the years

Mate we got that supporting Wests alone , never mind the WT's

We had a couple of games in 2006 which added a few hundred grey hairs

The Manly game when Stuart out jumps Benji to score

The last minute try to the Knights Sunday game (Leichardt ?? )

Anasta has been involved in a few loses we have had with last ditch plays

The semi comes to mind obviously

Game V Roosters where Beau is fullback and drops a Anasta bomb and he takes Ryan out and Rooster won 10-8 or 12-10 ??

Makes you wonder why Roosterman dislikes Anasta so much ?? He saved their asses a few times over the years and was involved with a few premiership sides as well
