Show will be lucky to last the season. The characters are not funny, the only decent segment is Controversy Corner. Give me the Footy Show over it any day of the year.

Agree. The entertainment segments on the show just aren't that funny. The footy show was far superior last night IMO.

channel 7 dont do a good job with the afl, infact they are terrible, channel 10 do a much better job

The show needs to be 1/2 hr longer as the segments are 2 short im not fussed with don kirk,the man child is funny and controversy corner and home when your away is good.also i dont think steve the man child was even shown (can someone clarify this) even tho there was a snippet b4 a break wtf :brick:

They showed a snippet and said they would have it but they didn't. I guess they didn't have enough time. Also during the breaks Ahn Do was making jokes for the audience. He is a funny guy that guy.

i thought the Don stuff with robbie was hilarious and true matty stuff " so thats your 2005 premiership jersey… and what premiership was this boot from...oh 2005 as well" lol
what i liked pre matty johns goin down in fire was how happy he always looked on the footy show, made me laugh, now he looks stone cold most of the time but hopefully he'll come out of his shell again!
Off Topic: Johns brothers are unstoppable it seems, drug confessions and gangbang allegations and they come out with full time nrl commentary or their own tv show, dont mind that for punishment :slight_smile:

Channel 10 do sport so well compared to 7\. Your better off watching Thursday Night Live on OneHD if your after league content before 'The Footy Show'. They do numerous other sports in the 2hr period but still go into more depth than 'The Matthew Johns Show'.

Mate i didn't say 7 do a good job with the AFL…..Said Channel 10 or one hd...they do a great job on saturday night games,
I think 9 couldn't do a worse job on sunday footy,they're terrible.Don't know how they can fit in a game of footy in between 16:00 and 18:00 with all the adds.....not just that their timing of adds too...
