The Papenhuyzen decision...

Congratulations to Ryan Papenhuyzen for a brilliant performance in the Storms GF win over Penrith. Deservedly awarded MoM award.

New Ryan at the Oakhill college days big congrats for Churchill medal, had turdesco infront of him who he thought was not leaving. Kicked on plenty at storm well done

Congrats to Paps....Always great to see a Balmain kid do well. Painful, but good luck to him.

Mods...might be time to lock this? I started it, so can I request that? Time for us all to move on. Hope the kid kills it in origin also.

Are you serious ? You’re the first person to talk about blocking people who disagree with you ! LOL . You have zero interest in an open forum , you just want to whinge about the management in your echo chamber

Fair enough...and I will keep reading it 🙂

I just needed to ease my guilt when it gets dragged up for the next five years every time Pap does something big 🙂

And it will be ?

Btw in case people had forgotten, that play by paps to keep the ball in is not the first time he had done it,
In fact he did it against us last year, if you rewatch the highlights of that game

I reckon you could some this thread up rather succinctly by saying in regard to the Papenhuyzen decision for Paps himself it was the correct one.
We can lament all we like but he seems a great kid, great talent and will have a long career with the Storm if he wants.
As far as the decision for the Wests Tigers regarding the Papenhuyzen decision, there are no guarantees that Papenhuyzen would have enjoyed the same start to his career if he stayed with us and became our full time fullback.

I did not realise until today that Papi was the first Balmain junior to receive the CLive Churchill Medal. I hope one day a Blockbuster movie is made of Papi’s incredible rise above adversity, and in the face of constant negative criticism. Tremendous courage by the young man.

Yep it would like roosters claiming They made Tedesco.

Storm made. Papz who he is which should be the story

A lot of success is built because of people being told what they can’t do. Often seen as a challenge they can’t walk away from. As such, it is possible that the true catalyst for Papi’s success lies first and foremost with Eels and WT.

Surely @Pawsandclaws gets a role in this movie...

Worth mentioning I think - He is also not the first or only player to have ever done it either.
