The Roster

Does anyone think that if we had Siliva Havila and Hame Sele last week off our bench instead of Kelma and Seyfarth we would of won the game?
Seems to me really what we are lacking is a couple of hard hitting impact props.

Those two were unwanted purchases as well and have spent probably 2/3rds of their career in NSWcup.

Really we should be looking harder for those types of players and offering them ‘overs’

For whatever reason our forwards were very fatigued, and were blown off their feet in the second half, even if Souths bench had Kelma and Seyfarth the result would have been the same or even worse.

After a strong showing in the first half why did they display so much weakness or fatigue in the second half? Madge/Sheens must know why quickly.
Here's one description of the some known causes of fatigue in athletes.

North Sydney Sports Medicine Clinic
(Excerpt)
FATIGUE AND PERFORMANCE
Fatigue affects the physical and mental capacity of a person to perform set tasks. It is especially noted in athletes who push themselves to the limits of endurance, and is also common among people who engage in strenuous work. The onset of fatigue can be rapid, or the result of cumulative effects after weeks or months of physical effort.
Sports and Exercise Medicine Physicians are dedicated to establishing the right balance between training, competition and recovery in order to help avoid the onset of fatigue. Appropriate nutrition, hydration, recovery and sleep are important measures that lessen the incidence of fatigue, whether it is caused on the sports field or elsewhere

My Question now is, are our players getting Appropriate nutrition and the right balance of training between training, competition and recovery?

Just watched the Souths game again and have to say it looked like men playing boys in the middle. Every one of their forwards out enthused and absolutely smashed our pack for all of that game. They were bigger, stronger, tougher, faster, angrier, had more line speed- better in every department. We hung on in the first half with some good ball play from our backs but when they upped the ante we looked like easy meat. With that amount of go forward and our right hand side backpedaling in D with no support from inside they were able to get their backs rolling with plenty of space.
I imagine that the run metre stats must show the story of our pack vs theirs.

But can they do it week in week out at NRL level?

So long as our players are improving year on year, it is what it is. We invested heavily into youth. These sorts of results happen when you are lacking in experience. Just gotta keep cutting the ones who don't keep up and add new blood every year or two.

People bagging the King who can amazingly justify Brooks for 8 years. Does Ur head in.
Surprised KUL doesn't get money from the government there's so many special [This word has been automatically removed]s on here
