Madge was sacked prematurely and we know that because;
A. We have only managed one win since he was booted.
B. Not a single player has improved since he left
C. We got thrashed by the Roisters
D. We got the spoon
E. We copped a large pay out and had to hire another coach
F is for Fail, Tim appointed himself and Benji.
We were much better placed under Madge and contrary to the lies and innuendo, he was never in charge of recruitment.
When did he put his hat in, he got Paps and Api, now paps is having second thoughts.
Gus said 6 players are weighing up their options, it was a joke at the time, but it turns out it’s true.
Tim and co have signed absolutely no one of note.
No offence to any poster, but the shill mantra and the Land of Lee nonsense is fantasy, a denial of the truth and reflects strangely on those who are dying on this hill of mischief, revisionism and unadulterated bullshit.
A club divided is what we have. End of days stuff under these incompetent muppets.
They’ve had years to fix the mess, now telling us to look forward to another 5 years of rubbish.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
I just think this is a critical time to express what the vast majority of fans and members are feeing.
Instead of the end of season review, we will be needing some kind of Reconciliation and Truth Commission to try to restore some kind of understanding and to give us fans and members a start in the healing process.
Because the footy and related harms committed upon this club by the cadre constitute a footy atrocity.
Now we will have Farah and Benji marching around the stalag COE as junior club officers with zero coaching or people management experience. The players won’t buy into that.
All they seem to know is how cool and important they are.
The cadre will let time pass and then re-appear like nothing has happened. Roll out the promises and the development nonsense.
They don’t understand that they can still help the club without being a board member, running it and all the rest.
As for Tim, his 2022 record is shocking, so not only do we promote him, we so do without any expectations of him achieving anything.
We are a pretend nrl club at the moment. We are a disgrace.

Mate my intitial comment was only ever in regards to Sheens publicly addressing the matter of club successors often being burdened by the constraints caused by their predecessors (coaches and player recruits) during their undertakings, and his priority to tackle this as well as other core issues - that have hindered the team's progress.
Threw in that if he can achieve this, it'll benefit Benji hugely.
I mean no disrespect but your replies have offered nothing constructive and are completely focused on problems that are unrelated to the future direction of the club.
Discussing Madge's sacking over and over again doesn't bring anything but upset amongst forum members. It does nothing to dwell on the past and I honestly do not wish to put myself in that headspace.
I think they realised a long time ago that there's a bad perception of the club and we have a poor image, which is why I keep voicing I have no personal issue with their attempts to reposition our brand. Making minor adjustments targeted at one area will never rectify the complexity of issues we have.

In a way the wooden spoon could have been avoided had we not been ripped off in the Cowboys game and if some dumb dumb dumb footballer did not pick up the ball after it had not gone 10 metres from a line drop out last week. Only the Tigers could lose like that. Maybe we just needed to get the spoon to amplify the fact it has been a terrible year. I don't know how people can defend Madge's record and say he should not have been sacked. His results were abysmal and if that stupid Tiger Tales was anything to go by he was the not the bloke to bring this club forward into the future. Sheens, Benji, Farah, Furner........time will tell, but we absolutely had to try something different.

Your post doesn't make sense and you've obviously jumped the gun. How can anyone blame a coach for losing a game when they were not there? I am not a fan of Madge as a coach, but I don't dislike him enough to blame him for a loss when he is not even in the organisation. Think about it before going off on a rant.

What Tim said about Madge recently was out of line. He said that Madge had control over recruitment. No he didn’t. We recruited by committee as my excerpts showed. He was dragged along, in many cases, unwillingly.
Now he’s got Madge offside. Madge has powerful friends all over the game, Gus is just one.
Madge is NZ coach, he knows hundreds of agents and footy people.
To take the heat off, Tim has come out, entirely unsolicited and off his own bat, and needlessly and wrongfully sledged Madge.
And the shills have adopted this new chorus of crap.
And in doing so, Tim has probably harmed our interests for his puffery and PR. So unnecessary.
And he’s meant to be our saviour?
Madge was a human sacrifice and whether he was successful or not, his deployment and characterisation as the bogie man, the devil incarnate is shill bullshit.
