The Storm Rorting Super Thread.....

each game that melbourne play this season, do not give them acknowledgement for any points they score at all.
if the score four tries and convert them, then the scoreboard show show Melbourne 0.

Central Coast.

And, if the Sharks fail - Perth. They actually have a local competition and a support base for the NRL. the super league war killed them off and not a lack of interest.

Bellamy will be axed from coaching the Storm and NSW. As a desperate last minute fix NSW will beg Gould to come out of retirement for the good of the game and coach NSW. Gould will then coach NSW to a series win and his legend will grow.

CC Bears would be great, they are quite wel prepared already.

That being said I would not be against a Perth team. But how well supported and prepared are they over there?

The NRL have called in Deloitte to do a forensic audit of the Storm now so it will be interesting to see what further information is uncovered in this debacle of epic proportions.

Feel sorry for the Storm fans and the honest grass roots people who were trying to make a success of it in Melbourne.
As usual, its the fans that pay and the game that suffers. They all say the game will bounce back but the day may come when it doesn't .

What happens to the teams that lose to the Storm this year and then miss out on the 8 by 2 points. They have to be kicked out of the comp this year. They shouldn't be able to stop teams from gaining two points while they are $700,000 over the cap for this season.

If every team played each other an equal number of times, you could do something about it. But since not every team does, I don't have a decent answer…

I think you have it wrong there, they can still win games just dont get the 2 comp points.

Maybe Carl Williams was the whistle blower in question.

There were rumors he was working with the police and giving them information.

If you remove Melbourne from the comp then this hurts more than just the Storm.

Means in Round 25 we don't get a home game at Leichhardt Oval, so the membership I bought at the start of the year is now worth less than it was. Also all sponsors, corporate hosp, game day revenue is lost to the club. Who is going to compensate our club for that loss?

Now missing one home game isn't going to send us broke (I hope) but might have an impact on how much we have to spend next year on players.

Have heard it all now, Molly Meldrum on the news stating that all along Sydney have hated Melbourne and "now i hope they are happy as they have got what they wanted"

Fans out side the Melb training ground also blaming Sydney's hatred of the the Storm..

You reap what you sow, sorry..i just prey NONE of the players are guilty of backhanders as they have some serious questions to answer to their fans and the ATO.

Can't wait for the post match interview and press conference. What sort of questions can you ask a teams coach and captain after they just played for nothing and no matter what are guaranteed the spoon. I mean talking about disallowed tries and bad ref calls that went against you etc just doesn't matter when you have 0 before you kick a ball off.
I'd also like to know what a coach has to say to his team at halftime?

What the !!!

I firmly believe that although Manly 07 & Parra 09 played and lost the GF they should not be ear marked as Premiers.

Here's why:

They weren't the only clubs that were shafted by the Storm. All 15 clubs were!
Who is to say that if the storm got busted last year, the tigers would've gone from 9th to 8th and we "could've" won the comp and all the finals structures would have been different!

You simply can't only take one backward step and say the are the champions.
We, the Wests Tigers football club we're rorted out of a top 8 spot last year.
Any game that was played within this 5 year period that involved the Storm effected the whole comp!!!

I feel for the Rugby League public as a whole. We are passionate about this game of ours, we bleed our colours, we voice our opinions and we certainly don't accept cheats in our game!

As far as i'm concerned, the NRL should investigate every single club (including ours) and expose any team that rorts the system. I certainly don't want to be (and nor would any other Nrl supporter) standing in the same position as a storm supporter in 5 years time. Get the auditors in to every clubs back offices NOW!
If we are scamming it (not suggesting we are) then us fans deserve to know!

As for the rest of the season, all storm players should be on minimum wages until the books are completely gone through and names are named. I fear that it will be the end of some big players careers.

The Melbourne Storm as a club have bent all other 15 clubs over and driven us straight up the @$$!

:sign:
Triserratops is not in a good mood!
Hopefully a win tomorrow night can lighten up my spirits and supress my anger at this whole disgrace!!!!
