Hartigan is the last guy I want leaving. if we lose him I'll be filthy.
What are you basing his worth on?
the acquisition of Scott Woodward and the Talent Identification System that has led us to signing a number of youngsters and unknowns, the turnover in the junior grades and the successes there, and the refusal to pay overs when we have been notorious for doing so.
he's only been in the job 2 years and we have completely remodelled our approach, which has been to sign young players from all corners of the country and develop them in our system. he won't have much to do with pathways moving forward, but he has definitely been instrumental in us heading in that direction.
I doubt that there is any real issue between Madge and Hartigan, if anything you'd be worried if there has been no disagreements between the two given our results onfield. hopefully it all comes out in this review.
We can't really differentiate who's doing what and it's all guess work
Isn't Woodward the brain child for tamou that didn't work too well for us.
@jrtiger is correct.
The dynamic between the two does not seem to be working.
Who has the more power in their role anyway?
I think madge would be the more brutel sacking and hartigan would be the easier option.
Must see viewing against the Bulldogs things could quickly change.
Madge is by far the easiest sacking of the two. Finding people that can build you up from juniors to seniors and build a club around are hard to find. Finding someone new to shout and swear at players is rather simpler in comparison.
Why hasn't Madge been able to inspire better performances from his players. Why do we keep making the same mistakes over and over again in defence? Why do we mentally switch off and make dumb decisions so much? Partly on dumb players, but partly on the systems and tactics (or lack thereof) in place too.
