while we are at it, my pick for Blues team:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Hayne
3\. Dugan
4\. Jennings
5\. B Morris
6\. Moylan
7\. Maloney
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Tahmoa
11\. Cordner
12\. Jackson
13\. Merrin

14\. Fifita
15\. Frizzel
16\. Klemmer
17\. J. Bird

Its a good side, strike players everywhere but halves still weak. Someone has to stand up and own the halves positions (Maloney did but has to replicate '16 form) if the blues are any chance. Moylan is not dangerous enough at 6\. He should be used as a Craig Wing styled game breaker from the bench. Id have Bird instead of Jennings, Moylan as supersub and new blood (Austin, Moses etc…) at 6.

I think Moylan is certainly dangerous enough at 6\. He is the one who got us home in the 2nd half of the 3rd game. He controlled things like a seasoned pro and continualky asked questions of rhe QLD defence, while Maloney went missing. The problem is that he isn't getting the experience at 6 week in week out both defensively and structuring the attack. Its a big ask for him to play 6, but in saying that your only as good as your last game and his final 40 minutes were great.

I dont get the love for Dugan. He's always in everyone's side.

Frizzell is currently the best backrower in the game along with Gillett, he has to start.

I would have Peter Wallace as no 9 he was close to Penrith nest player this year. I also think Jennings is a lazy footballer and there are better options

Farah will be the no 9\. Daley loves him. Jennings has to be finished at Origin level, surely.

I don't think Jennings will be there this year,as has been said he is getting lazy and his best rep days are past him although he has been brilliant at times he is rocks and diamonds..as for RF,Daley does favour him,but he will have to have a standout year at the rabbits to prove he is still the number one choice to be NSW hooker…maybe another hooker could have a brilliant season and displaces Robbie... anything can happen in the NRL ....

Not putting the knife into RF but over the last few years he has got the gig because outside Ennis there has been no compertion for the blues no 9\. Daley knows Farah will make fifty tackles and not take to many bad options. Its a real conservative selection.

I just think Peter Wallace will give them a heap more spark and dash out of d/h and the blues have the attack to really test the QLD team. I suppose there is always a chance Wallace would not be able to do what he does at Penrith as the QLD defence is so good. Anyway we need a change, you can not keep getting beaten and keep playing the same players and the same game plan

I just can't believe the lack of depth that NSW have in such a key position

I know I got shouted down last time I suggested this , but I reckon Moylan would go really well in the 9 jersey , especially with all the options NSW have in the 1 jersey

You blokes might have to create a player for the 9 until someone comes along

You did it in the late 90's with Johns

I just would like to see all 17 players have consistently good games for the entire season.
Is that too much to ask ?

I cannot think of anything that would be a positive in shifting Moylan to hooker. He would barely make 20 tackles per game at the moment and you expect him to make 50+ under the intensity of Origin? He would be looking to the sideline after 15 minutes. He is gonna have to get used to being either 5/8 where he would have a roaming commission to float around in attack ie Fittler or come off the interchange as a utility.

While i dont agree with Happy about moving Moylan to 9, im continually amazed at how underestimated Moylan is, and in particular his toughness. You could put him anywhere and he would stand up.

Sometimes i feel im the only one who rates the kid. He's special in my opinion.

I agree 100%…..We all love Teddy but I think Moylan is a better ball playing no1, he actually reminds me a lot of Hogo and I agree you could play him anywhere and he would shine. He has great vision and is mentally tuff. Don't get me wrong Teddy has that speed and strength that separated him from other no1s but Moylan can play 1 6 7 or 9

No one ever agrees with happy…so nothing new to see here...

Moylan is perfect for the bench impact player in Origin due to his versatility....

Never once said i don't rate him.
I agree he will be an elite player in years to come. Cannot see why anyone would want to blunt his attacking assets by moving him into hooker to be a tackling machine as all hookers in the NRL now are. It would be a stupid move, his arse would be dragging on the ground before 20 minutes. No value in that IMO.

Moylan to hooker makes no sense in my opinion. If he's not at fullback, he's in the halves, on the bench, or left right out.

Moylan would be best at either 6 or a utility.

It maybe my WT coloured glasses but I think teddy is a better full back, but Moylan a better ball player.

Not questioning moylans mental toughness but I wonder what his game would be like if he suffered the number of injuries Teddy has? Not that I wish that on Moylan.

I see Moylan as a perfect Craig Wing style impact player that can cover the entire spine off the bench, especially in the case of ten minutes for a head knock test or other injury, whilst giving the nine a much needed break as a standard interchange.

Teddy is the best number one and has got his debut out of the way, so ready to shine, as is Moses who won't die wondering or let anyone down if given a shot.
