Tigers interested in RTS

Why do some always assume players we are negotiating with can get an early release.

Probably because of the Moses clause. But it is a bit ridicules and the NRL need to do something about it. Maybe an early player release cap fee.

Maybe cause it happens a lot in the NRL… just last year we got Tuimoala Lolohea..this season has seen Bryce Cartwright, Mitchell Pearce, Blake Green, James Graham, Trent Hodgkinson all get releases from their contract just off the top of my head..there are also a few lesser names like Brad Abbey who have also..

Because that is how the WestsTigers work, players get released early quite often

From what I've been told talks are progressing very well.

Good to hear you are usually on the ball. RTS would one of the first players we attract sought after by numerous teams. Aside from the player it would be a good sign that the days of quality players avoiding WT are over.

Wouldn’t hurt we have a large percentage of ex Warrior players. Also, Cleary. He has a great rapport with the Polynesian’s.

Well I’d say the odds are Buckley’s and none of the Warriors releasing their captain a year early.

I agree, can't see him being released early. Not like it's a fringe 1st grader etc that you see move mid season.
