Who would have thought the 2 guys who got in trouble after U20s origin would be making their NRL debuts together.
 
yes I got told last night by some one at the club that lodge will play as one of the forwards is out. Not sure who thought it was AVA BUT COULD NOT SAY.
 
I think Potter will start with Austin at fullback and Moses on the bench. Moses may replace Anasta at 5/8 late in the match.
 
Speaking of Anasta this is the last chance I'd give him. So far he has not shown any willingness to step up in Farah's absence. If that's the case again this week then see ya later Braith

I find that you can pick up a fair bit from Potter without him actually saying too much. The guy does not lie, nor talk BS. Though it surprises me, I now think the rumour mill way well ring true this week regarding the debut of Moses (at least) and Lodge, following his above sentence after this mornings run at Leichhardt.

Having said that Luani and Austin have trained at hooker, I expect Moses to go to the back when Blake moves to the middle giving Joel a rest. If all goes well, he may stay on the field, but moving to finish the match in the six when Luani comes back on.
 
Akauola has like 6 NRL matches and his defense is horrendous. He runs the ball really hard and straight and has a good offload, but we're short a front rower and he isn't a front rower. He's a winger/centre turned into a backrower.

Unless you'd rather him play than Halatau, in which case your argument is moot because Halatau is more experienced.
