Whilst they are trying to capitalise on the Sharks game as there are lot of ex Tigers playing and Carney also in the mix, just wait and see what happens if towards the end of the season and hypothetically we are out of semi's contention, the interest and crowds will disappear.
Will they then insist on the $65 package or will they open it up to the average punter to get in at $25 or what ever the price maybe.
All for being a member as we were when in Sydney and will be when we get back, but the one game pass I am not a fan of.

I'd pay $65 but certainly not to attend a game at Leichhardt. SFS maybe; Leichhardt no. By the way, I'm already a member so will be attending anyway

Wests Tigers wish to advise the latest news on tickets for the round one blockbuster against Cronulla Sharks at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, March 4.
The release of the $65 Wests Tigers Season Opener Membership has led to a spike in Wests Tigers Memberships, with reserved seating at Leichhardt Oval now sold exclusively to Members.
Becoming a Wests Tigers member is the best way to secure your ticket to all Wests Tigers home games.
Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said the demand had been very strong since the Season Opener Membership was launched.
“Memberships are selling strongly on the back of high interest and expectation for our 2012 season,”Humphreys said.
“We anticipate releasing a limited number of General Admission tickets for the round one clash at Leichhardt Oval to the public on Thursday.
**“A priority purchase period will be provided to Wests Tigers and Sharks Members before tickets go on sale to the public.”\

The plan for round one ticket release is as follows:
-Thursday, 9am: Pre-purchase window for Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks Members.
- Thursday, 12 noon: Remaining tickets on sale to the general public.**
Supporters are encouraged to follow weststigers.com.au, Wests Tigers Twitter (@wests_tigers) and Wests Tigers Facebook ([www.facebook.com/weststigers.com.au](http://www.facebook.com/weststigers.com.au)) in the next 24 hours for more information.
Cronulla supporters should follow their official website to keep up to date on information.

I also feel for those (including myself) that can't afford $65 per ticket if you wish to take the family. If you are in the fortunate position to do that good on you but I know a lot of people who aren't.

To clear this up, if for season 2012, you already have wests-tigers stripes membership,
you still have to pay $65 to get in. :crazy

To my understanding this $65 membership gets u a member kit plus general entry to the round 1 clash. The number of $65 kits sold the less chance of getting any regular sales.

Anyway if you read the original article Humphreys never says there would be no public sale - in fact it looks like the Herald, and then us lot, have got a bit over-excited about some general comments about how popular Leichhardt Sunday games are:
"We have had our biggest day of membership sales today. 'We will see how they go over the next few days and if they are not all gone we will put some tickets on public sale later in the week but at this stage the response has been terrific."
"I do think we are approaching that day when Leichhardt games are members only, which would be great for Wests Tigers but not so good for opposing fans,'' he said.
"We have sold out Leichhardt a few times over the last two or three years so I am really hopeful that people get that message that to avoid disappointment and guarantee their ticket membership is the way to go."
''At some point I would expect that we would have members-only fixtures at all our Leichhardt and Campbelltown games. Whether this one does or not … we are still building towards that but I think that day will certainly come as our membership grows. This game will certainly go close, at least."
