Tim Simona facing three week ban!

One word "Joke"!! No consistency in grading. Has to fight the charge as the majority who do get off or have the charge downgraded!!

If we don't contest it, we are the joke !

Whatever happens with selection, at least now something is forced to happen.

IMO, Lawrence to centres is a no-no, as he is just not fast enough.

MCK or JAC, either option sounds promising to me.
Let's give them their chance.

Lovett to centre, Lawrence to 5/8, Farah to halfback. Its a no-brainer, we have had so much success with these positional switches in the past! Nothing would surprise anymore sadly….....

Come on FTB, I'm pretty sure Buchanan should play centre. :roll

Interesting question - when is the last time we challenged a charge at the judiciary? I can't even recall one instance.

Hey Russell…...expect the unexpected and don't be surprised with anything :brick:.

Say hello to Dale for me mate.

John Hopoate

But the NRL wouldn't give him a lifetime ban

Please not Lovett. Wasn't he the one who escorted a Penrith centre to 4 tries when playing there?

Thats the problem with our side.
Zero 1st grade depth in three quarters.

Wests Tigers will contest Tim Simona’s dangerous contact charge handed down by the NRL Match Review Committee from Round 5.

Simona has pleaded guilty to the Dangerous Contact charge; however, will dispute the grading at the NRL judiciary tomorrow night.

Simona was put on report in the 77th minute of the match against Cronulla last week for a tackle on Jack Bird.

If the charge is successfully downgraded, Simona will be free to play the Newcastle Knights this weekend.

The NRL Match Review Committee charged Simona with a Grade 2 offence yesterday, which carries a 250-point base penalty.

The NRL is yet to confirm a time for the hearing at Rugby League Central tomorrow night.

Why anyone would want to shift Lawrence back to the centres given the way he's totally reinvented himself the last 12 months is beyond me.

Thank God common sense prevailed

What concerns me is that the judiciary have been more than lenient in the first 4 rounds and they will look to soon set a precedent.
Let's hope it's not this week…

Not sure mate but knowing Taylor he might put Lovett there if Simona is suspended
If given the choice I rather Rowdy there to plug the hole instead of Lovett

Would be a massive negative to move him from 2nd row to fill this gap (if it does happen) but it does present an opportunity to get a big booper filling his spot in 2nd row.
This all based on the assumption no one new will be making a debut and we recycling talent we have
