Tim Simona facing three week ban!

I kind of hope Milone plays and has a good game.

If he does play, then I'm sure we're all in agreement with that. Wouldn't be holding my breath though - I struggle to remember any players looking more out of their depth in FG.

And I will be the first one to put my hand up and eat a double serve of humble pie… As has been said, some players will just never be of first grade standard and Milone is one of them... Unfortunately he's not the only one we have that should never see first grade

We know the refs use 'cheat sheets' so that they look out for certain individuals or teams that are known offenders of some rules.

I always wondered if this was the case but after the Sharks game I can only imagine the refs left Gallen and Ennis off their "cheat sheets". These guys whinge, milk and niggle all day. Drives me crazy that the refs just pander to them rather than calling each decision on its merits.

Lets just wait to see who Taylor names before everyone has a meltdown

Can't sleep, Lovett might play in the centres
Can't sleep Lovett might play in the centres

Its a step back in class whoever we choose , no depth and the starters aren't that much better really

All will exposed at 3.00pm tomorrow at Campbelltown. If Milone doesn't run onto the field we will know that he is playing first grade on Sunday.

I'd be surprised if either Milone or Chee Kam play for NSW Cup. One will be 18th/19th man I reckon.

Well - now we do know for sure that the MRC and the judiciary are totally incompetent. We also know now for sure that there are double standards relating to how some clubs e.g. Manly, Roosters, Bulldogs, Brisbane etc. and their players are treated on charges and how the lesser clubs like Wests Tigers are treated for the same or lesser charges.

This also applies on the field and how referees determine penalties - there is no consistency at all and it is no good looking at penalty numbers because the referees quite often give the lesser clubs penalties at times and positions on the field that do not really count at all apart from covering up a lopsided penalty count.

If the management of the NRL are going to continually ignore these blatant discrepancies by putting their heads in the sand or hoping nobody notices what is going on, they are bigger fools than I give them credit for.

Well Mr Grant, Mr Greenberg et al are you actually going to do something about this or just stay behind locked doors to count the TV money for the one hundredth time. This has been going on for years and Wests Tigers for one (Balmain and Western Suburbs) before that, have been suffering this form of cheating (because that is what it is) for donkeys years.

Well, we are starting to get sick of it and it is starting to show up over the last years in falling attendances which are only going to get lower if this fiasco continues. Hype yourselves all you like about the "Greatest Game of all" etc. The NRL management, referees, judiciary and the MRC are turning the game into a laughing stock. You have taken this great game of ours and have made it into a temporary money making machine - but only until everyone wakes up to what a complete joke this game is turning into.

You are 100% correct Russell as a man in his 60s i am totally fed up with the way we are treated and have been ever since i was a kid.As you said both Balmain and Western Suburbs have always been treated like scum and it continues now.The bias against us both on and off the field is a total disgrace

It's an interesting point. A couple of aspects really rub me the wrong way:

- Firstly it has been said that the judiciary was "making a statement". What the????? This infers that future infringements will be dealt with harshly. Surely any incident must be judged on its merits, not what has gone before it or what will come after it. So are we to think they 'got tough' on Simona to send a message? Please!!! This is not equal judging.

- Secondly the way teams are refereed. **We know the refs use 'cheat sheets' so that they look out for certain individuals or teams that are known offenders of some rules.**
This is also not 'equal' refereeing! Each and every team should be refereed and judged on how they perform on the day - not how they performed last week last month or last season!!

If we are poor at wrestling or being square at marker let the ref look at that on the day and in the context of the contest. Paying special attention to it will simply encourage more and more penalties for it while giving a warning to the other team. That makes it very hard to break the cycle…

Burn the cheat sheets please. We'll never get a fair go on the day otherwise.

As for the judiciary... well I got no answer for that one. Same ol' same ol'

"Bengaliwolf" don't know how this happened - I am quoted about saying Refs have cheat sheets by you. **I did not in fact say this.**

The person you should have quoted was Jadtiger who in fact was replying to me.

Please be careful
