Tim Simona To The Sharks?

Sharks can get stuffed. We all know how forums say that players have been signed and how that didn't work out. I.E Pritchard, Maitua. I won't believe anything until it is confirmed by the Tigers or Sharks to his future. I didn't mind the Sharks a few years ago, but now i hate them with a passion and hope we smash them on friday.

Its a sad fact, but you can't keep them all.

I don't want Simona to go, but I am resigned tthat at some point we are going to lose a couple young guys.

**Just pisses me off that Sharks are again at the door, swear to god their recruitment strategy is to take our leftovers. Especially when their own fans continually bag our club, only to sit up and clap like a retarded seal everytime they sign one of our guys.[**/quote]

Me too! Why can't they go and circle some other club's players for a while, instead of ours all the time. Or better still, try developing their own juniors, like everyone else. The Shire is a large area, I'm sure they could find plenty of hobbits with potential out there somewhere.

I bet Fifita has something to do with it. He seems like the sort of bloke who would hold a grudge and work on a way to get back at the club who got rid of him - much like Kevin Rudd

I really hope we can smash these scumbags tomorrow night. I haven't wanted us to win a game more this year than this one. The thought of their fans, already smug at the poaching of yet _another_ of our players and then even more smug if they beat us on the field as well, would be too much to bear. Victory over Cronulla would be sweeter than a victory over the Storm for me right now.

i feel the passion here
you've got me pumped. The sort of feeling to start something..
Shame the game is not on till tomorrow..

Lets go tigers!!

It really sucks that promising, and delivering youth are being held up behind Ayshford and Lawrence. Dont hate either of them, but if all the contracts were up at the same time, I really wonder what the club would do… I know who i would keep.

Q: (@PJMoseley88) Flanno strikes again! Has pinched another man from Tiger Town. They are furious. Future star.

The Lurker: You must be talking about Tim Simona. Mail is he is going to Sharks. He has been a standout for Tigers in recent weeks and Sharks are desperate for outside backs, so he will be a good signing if the mail is right.

Maybe it's not Simona - Mania Rudolph could also be considered a future star, maybe it's him?? Alternatively it could all be bs - after all, randomly suggesting a tigers player will move to the sharks is gonna pay off enough times to make you look like a genius!

Don't know why everyon keeps talking up Richards return - after watching him a few times in ESL i can't see why we re signed him - he is lazy and slow.

They don't hand out the man of steel award for laziness.

Is Simona off contract anyway?

I would rather lose Taqele and Ayshford.

They can have Moltzen as well. At least Beau and Heighno will be happy!!!

I think the Poachers want a different Tim -Tim Moltzen.

Makes sense - he hasn't done any better than Nofo or Koro and doesn't show the potential of either. At this stage Richards is looking like a mostly NSW Cup player and can't imagine he's on big coin anyhow.

And it's not like we can punt either Aysh or Lawrence as they're on contract for next year. Tim (Simona) is the odd man out unfortunately.

The other Tim must be wondering exactly where he fits in next year. Highly likely he gets moved on too IMO.

I'm over hearing about this Big T. Starting to sound like another John Grant.

As for Simona, i've been wondering for a few weeks what his contract situation would be like. Had a feeling it would be up at the end of the yr. Would be a real shame to lose him.

Glad to have fired you up, LTWT - try and hang onto it til tomorrow night  It's good for us fans to be pumped, but let's hope the boys are also in the mood to well and truly bury the Sharks.

I wouldn't like to see Simona leave, I think he's realised if he backs himself he can really hold his own in FG rather than feel like he's just there making up the numbers due to injuries etc. Given we have a few outside backs off contract, such as Lote, Utai and Reddy, I would hope we keep Simona as I rate him ahead of all 3.

How I feel about the Richards signing now…

Thing is with Richards, my opinion on him coming back is entirely dependant on the money being paid as well as any promises Potter made such as "you will be first choice winger in R1".

If Patty is coming back on a lowish value deal, with no golden handshake agreements, and is told to earn his spot in the run on, then I still think its a good deal. I am a big believer in old heads and the experience they can bring.

shark's forum reckon its a done deal and won't be announced till after the game . If so I hope he seals the deal with a hat trick against them . Hope its not true but we can't hang onto all our young guns just wish him well if that is the case

yeah but how many done deals has our forum had. it would suck if we lost him but the game goes on. fingers crossed we keep him but cant keep them all

Like any good player I hope we keep him but with Lawrence, Ayshford , Koroibete , nofoaluma , Richards , big T and timmy moltzen we have a lot of outside backs with reddy possibly resigning too he is too good to be in reserve grade

IMO Ayshford, Lawrence and Reddy fit this adequately. We have a really good balance in the backs at the moment of experienced centres and young FB and wings.
