Agreed, but we badly need him for at least one more year as insurance for Brooks Mosses and Teddy. I would give him a upgraded contract, mainly to keep him happy, even if it is for a year and by 2016 we should be in a better position either to extend his deal or let him walk, dependent on our needs.
But who wants to be kept on as "insurance"? Austin's had a good season and played hard in every position but prop, but on paper he doesn't make the starting 17.. **Why would he stick around to play NSW cup in between utility appearances in the NRL side?**
