I read on twitter, that Madge is seeing how he pulls up and if all good he will be in the side.

No point rushing him but he's certainly going to feature sooner rather than later - I'd give him 2 more matches in Knock On for match fitness then bump him to the bench in Firsts.

Surely he could manage 15 minutes each side of the break

I agree, after bursting onto the scene with so much promise Mikaele has gone backwards over the past couple of years and looks disinterested, seems to tiptoe through the tulips ..ala Tiny Tim

Who gets dropped to replace him. I reckon Tamou, Musgrove and Twal have been our worst performing middle forwards.

Amone has to be in the side he has leg speed and power gets a quick play the ball for our side to get momentum. I’m impressed with Musgrove, Ofehengaue, Utoikamanu and Amone. Our front row stocks are solid we need to trade a good player like Twal, Mikalele, Tamou to get an outside back of better quality.

There’s no point having so many props and lack of talent on the edges it’s a glaring weakness. We basically will lose every game unless it rains or is a dewy night game.

In the short term could be worth putting JTJ on a wing if we want speed and Moses to the centres if things aren't working with Talau (is fine on the wing and will be a good player but JTJ is faster and better than he and Kepaoa at this stage)


JTJ is frustrated enough not getting good ball. Putting him on the wing would only magnify that frustration.

Well he won't get good ball lagging back metres behind the play with his hands on his hips, or bludging around behind the ruck. If he's frustrated then he might start by looking in the mirror for the source of his frustration.

He's one of our best forwards. It's hilarious that everyone complains that we can't defend and make too many errors but want to get rid of a forward who never misses tackles and rarely makes errors. Often leads in metres made too.

Teams need work horses. If Amone gets a run it will be in mikaeles spot most likely.

But Twal (along with many of our forwards ) aren't dominant defenders

Getting marched back 3-4 metres with every tackle doesn't make you a good defender ....a good defender can make his 1 on 1 's ...help lead the line speed and can put the attack in 2 minds

We don't have anyone in that mould

I just watched the nsw cup game again and this guy is a machine. Has thighs bigger then half my body and runs as hard as tamouloloo. He was on another level to every forward in the game from both teams. If this is his first game back from a knee injury then wow is he going to be good.

That isn't right. The worst performing player should get dropped. Mikaele has been good for us.

I like Twal as well. He has been good but Mikaele has offered us more. He has at least threatened to punch through the line.

Why do you think Twal is no good? I mean I don't think he's suited to lock, but he's a good prop.
