Anyone seen what his effort is like in defence?

The metres are impressive, but I'm more interested in stopping other forwards than making metres after Sunday.

Looks like Seyfarth made almost twice as many tackles, but it's hard to tell much based on stats.

I just watched the nsw cup game again and this guy is a machine. Has thighs bigger then half my body and runs as hard as tamouloloo. He was on another level to every forward in the game from both teams. If this is his first game back from a knee injury then wow is he going to be good.

I read on twitter, that Madge is seeing how he pulls up and if all good he will be in the side.

No point rushing him but he's certainly going to feature sooner rather than later - I'd give him 2 more matches in Knock On for match fitness then bump him to the bench in Firsts.

Wasn't correct anyway, but yes I agree no point rushing him in, chances of playing finals this year literally evaporated in front of our eyes on Sunday afternoon...

**No Pain, no Gain for Fearless Amone**

Amone knows he might be crazy for saying this, but he believes the best part about returning to the field in 2021 is waking up with aches and pains the morning after a big game.

Call him crazy — it won’t bother him — he’s as tough and fearless as they come.

“It feels good to be sore after a game,” Amone said with a grin on his face.

“I know it sounds crazy, but if I’m sore, it means I did something during the game.

“I just love being physical — running straight into people and trying to hurt them... it feels good.”

It’s something he missed greatly when he was forced to sit out for nearly an entire year.

Having taken a strong carry up the field, Amone got caught on the bottom of an awkward three-man tackle, in which his knee took plenty of punishment on the way down.

“I ruptured my MCL off the bone and had a partial tear in my ACL,” he said.

“When I went to see the surgeon, he said he’d have to repair my whole ACL in surgery. It was pretty brutal.

“It’s all right now — it feels good and strong so there's no issues now.”

The former Rabbitohs prop joined Wests Tigers late into pre-season this year and, although he missed the opening three rounds, has returned with extra eagerness over the past two games for Western Suburbs in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.

The prop has been impressive in his return to rugby league as he’s taken a number of big carries and has put in a stack of work in defence.

Amone has to be in the side he has leg speed and power gets a quick play the ball for our side to get momentum. I’m impressed with Musgrove, Ofehengaue, Utoikamanu and Amone. Our front row stocks are solid we need to trade a good player like Twal, Mikalele, Tamou to get an outside back of better quality.

There’s no point having so many props and lack of talent on the edges it’s a glaring weakness. We basically will lose every game unless it rains or is a dewy night game.

JTJ is frustrated enough not getting good ball. Putting him on the wing would only magnify that frustration.

He'll get a run soon enough, still needs a few more minutes under his belt but can't deny him long if he keeps playing so well.
