Just lettin peoples know that there will be trackwork on all different lines that may effect your travel times if ya going via train(like moi) heres a few things to take into account.

Saturday 18 February 2.00am to Monday 20 February 2.00am more details

Buses replace trains between Glenfield and Granville

Saturday 18 February 2.00am to Monday 20 February 2.00am more details

Trains which normally operate between Revesby and the City will now start/terminate at Campbelltown.

so basiclly it effects the airportline i think and the cumberland line but to what extent im not sure just food for thought ..maybe someone else has more clue then moi if so help help help cos i h8 railway busses

It means it affects the south line from Granville to Glenfield and from Lidcombe to Liverpool via Sefton, the trains from Central to Revesby via the Airport will instead extend to Campbelltown to replace the services between Glenfield and Campbelltown that would normally run via Granville. The normal services from Central to Macarthur via the Airport will still also run.

Hope it's ok from Strathfield. I was speaking to two poor souls who braved the cityrail bus to Gosford last week.

It took them three and a half hours to get there! Yikes!

If at strathfield this weekend, you need to go via central the either the airport or east line

If your coming from gosford or Newcastle. Stay on the train to central the take to airport line to campbelltown. It's the quickest way. Would add about 20mins to your trip

Nah, just coming from the inner west. Have to go backwards to go forward, lol. Luckily, I've got nothing better to do!

Well going from strathfield to campbelltown via central or Granville takes almost the same amount on time. Like I said. 20 mins more at most
