Sorry Geo. I think I contributed to the off topic conversations..a couple of hours ago. I started talking about Elliott , CHN & others in this LoLo thread. But in my defence I got off the ferry and the pub on the whalf had happy hour.$5 craft beers that were 8%….i had a couple and started typing. Then I went into Aldi and bought $250 worth of ski jackets....which I'll return in the morning. Good night.

Honestly I do not rate Lolohea. Given the effort the club is putting in to securing him and the talent that some of the forum members see in him, I hope I am wrong. However I am worried that he was a golden child at another club that has not developed in the last few years, and I am not sure that a change of club or position will rectify this. As tigers fans we could name pages of this up an coming superstars that have not kicked on.
Sadly the list of proven fullbacks available is shrinking by the week, and of those that are left, there is no-one that sets the world on fire.
I would be making offers to Gela-Moseby, Beale, Nicoll-Klokstad, Will Smith, Kurt Mann or Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck & Lolohea for reasonable amounts and see who signs. They can either make the position their own, or have utility/depth value to the club until we can throw money at a proven player at the end of next year.

For a reasonable amount. Has shown nothing to suggest he should be among the highest paid players in the club on a long term deal.

He will be on $430k a year. Hardly the highest paid player

If LoLo cost the sort of money that was bandied around, and wasn't it for three or four years. ? He had better be a lot more than a reserve grader when he gets here.im not sure about the length of the contract.

What about Latrell Mitchell? Any chance we make a play for him to be our starting Fullback? You'd think he'd be on the outer now that Tedesco has signed. Surely the Roosters will need to offload some players now that Tedesco has signed. Oh wait, it's the Roosters, I forgot that the salary cap doesn't apply

The Roosters still have plenty of space in their cap to sign a few more internationals.

I think it is the excitement of him potentially being a superstar if nurtured the right way. He has been talked up for years and if we can unleash the beast, he could become our X-factor.

He's playing behing the kiwi versions of Greg Inglis, Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith currently. :mrgreen:

Lolo would be a walk in for plenty of NRL teams right now - they just don't realise it like our mob does.

The Mole says Santo has been granted an immediate release and may be playing as early as this weekend. If that is correct you would assume it has been waived however perhaps they have a new try before you buy option where you can play and then decide within ten days. The last option is that he signed 10 days ago…

We are assuming the club has been putting in a lot of effort, I'm sure they aren't as stressed as the fanbase is, it is just part of their job to go through these processes.

The club is going through zero trouble to get lolo he agreed a few weeks back but it was always up to the warriors to when they would release him. Just like tigers did with Moses.
