Watched Gamble play in the trial game against the cowboys in Cairns
He was kicking high balls with accuracy pre game and looked dangerous running the ball during the game
Attracted defenders during his runs opening up some holes for us to score out wide
I liked what I saw and if he can replicate the way he played he will have a good game
I expect he will give his all in this game

We don't have many better creative, attack-minded playmakers with a smart kicking game. He just needs to tweak his game to NRL level. That will come with experience.
The little time he saw in the trial was clearly enough to show what he's got . . . let alone his competition games. Benji saw it, and I think he is a fair judge of creativity.
Big, big potential. We need to support him and keep him under lock and key. We wouldn't want another JAC situation now, would we ? It would only take this one game for any club to circle him. Big, strong playmakers are rare and in demand.

Fans, coaching staff and Tyson himself need to be prepared to be patient.
That said I think he will back himself and surprise a few people.

Much rather give Gsmble a shot then Tui at 5/8\. Very worrying about Reynolds though. Just seems so injury prone since he has got here. Hope he comes good, but so far we aren’t getting our moneys worth.

Hasn’t Reynolds had hammie problems since mid last year. At his age I think their here to stay.
Lolohea is a major disappointment and Benji’s gone off the boil. At this stage we really need Gamble to step up.
Our only other option would be to try Thompson at 5/8 with Thompson at hooker and Thompson at fullback until reinforcements come next year.
So people want to reward Tui for playing terribly with giving him a shot in the halves! Please! Cleary has made the right call.
Besides, Tui was names in the 21 so he couldn’t have been chosen after Reynolds injured himself again.
Tui now might have a chance to play in his more suited position in ISP. Hopefully he steps up, or ships out.

Wouldn't it be great if Gamble has a brilliant debut and also allows Brooks to take charge (Marshall appears at time to overcall Brooks). Gives IC something to think about.
Also hope Killa shows his worth today which may have an impact on Farah's signature.
