It’s unbelievable. Last year our best player by far and there were calls for him to be captain. Now he’s left he’s not even a loss apparently.

The rest of the NRL might think we suck but some of the guys that come to the club such as MCK and CT don't want a leave.

Matterson is a loss but losing him won't be the difference in us making the top eight- and who knows
what negative impact he had on the whole squad after it was known to all he wanted out for the best half of the season. DH is the biggest issue imo and it seems all makeshift - with faith being shown in Liddle getting to the how much longer stage.

He is a massive loss but as someone stated LL is probably a better wide running backrower and we have a decent set of middle forwards. Matterson though at lock for us would give us a great pack.

I don't think he was out best player by far last year though. He was our best forward. I reckon Benji and Brooks were better.

There really hasn’t been any top quality players leave or join any Club. Good players maybe but top quality not so much.. Dogs picking up Stimson is akin to us picking up Leilua ...as an example

That list of elite players haven’t come here sure but they haven’t gone anywhere else either

Don't expect to make the finals next year. Hopefully for 2021 we can get some class players.

We have the salary cap and other clubs don't. We must sign two backs with pace and evasion. Also we need to find a fast winger from the lower grades.

Other than the obvious outlier in Matterson, I think there is a good level of comradery and positive spirit amongst the squad. We just lack a touch of class. One or two game breakers in the team will lift our try scoring potential and increase the confidence of all players.
