We Should Re Sign Tim Moltzen

problem is…where does he fit it? we have tedesco at fullback dont need wingers and benji at halfback we also have humble on bench,,,,
 
I wouldn't re sign him unless he is just gonna be a utility bench player

Yeah maybe, it took Moltzen quite a bit of time to get back into the swing of things after his.

Still not sold on the idea yet though.

Too many players at this stage that are maybe's of resigning, Lote, Utai, Bell, Humble, Miller, Moors, Groat….I'm sure there's a couple more.
 
Utah was one of our best players today he was great under the high ball if moltzen got injured I'd put Utah as fullback

Moltzen is starting to look safe at the back. As soon as that happens it makes a huge difference to him and the team.

I have no idea how we will fit in all the players that we have at the moment. I assumed Moltzen gets the 6 but to me Sirro might fit in there better. Tedesco might be the better option at 1.

I still think Moltzen is a gun and we should resign him. I'm just not sure where he will play.

Maybe Moltzen at 6 and Sirro at 13.
 
Moltzen played pretty average today and the only reason he looks good sometimes is because he's in the fullback position and he's the man there to score a try off Marshall and forwards good work.

I wouldnt sign him again.

Perfect world = Sironen steps up and claims 5/8 and Tedesco is back next year. Plenty of backs in our pack for next year already.

Where does Anasta go then?

He didn't do a lot tonight. Yes, he scored the match winner, but he also kicked the ball out on the full, almost gave away a try, and stuffed a pass that should have been a try.

Unless he vastly improves, don't resign him

Yeah that's pretty much what I saw too Stripes. I think he's looking a bit sharper/confident than previously but at this stage if it was me, I wouldn't re-sign him.
 
I think he's as equally bad as what he is good. Like he'll let a bomb bounce, then he'll score a try. We've created ourselves one hell of a jigsaw puzzle for next year. Hopefully we up together the right pieces.

Resign him. Let him battle tedesco for fb next year and if he doesn't get that bench utility for the backs. Who knows maybe centre if Aysh doesn't strike any kind of form.
Seriously still going on about Moltzen's ability under the high ball? He didn't miss a kick today and took one over Ryan. If you think he still isn't worthwhile to the team you're just stubborn and ignorant. If I were you I'd just keep my mouth shut and be positive that he's making changes in the right direction

Yes, he took one over Ryan, but he deadset ran halfway across the field and basically snatched it off him. It could so easily have been an offside, or they could have seen each other and let it bounce. He did his best to stuff it up.

It was his best game of the year but he has has a lot more bad games then good games this year I hope we don't resign him
