Will be interesting to see if Jennings is still a slug !

Yep that's who im looking out for

I’ll have my snipers scope on him ..

The launch button is within arms reach for me....

I’m locked on like the Terminator...

We should’ve gone into this Mickey Mouse comp with either a full blown NRL squad (250k prize money ?) or a team full of mostly rookies and unknowns ..
Parra will most likely win this and the Media darlings will think the sun shines out of the skinny tankers backside ?

Well the last time they won it they finished 14th in the proper comp and they got stripped of the title eventually aswell sooooooooo

Go Pawwa???

Nah, fudge that.

Just the thought made me spill my choc... see what you’ve done Mitchell Matterson?

That's just about the worst squad we could have selected.

Very disappointing that few youngsters get a shot. McQueen?, McIntyre?? Just a joke.

The worst squad out of all the clubs. No pace, little penetration. Just plain pedestrian.

God, you are a downer. What a sad life you must have.

I like the squad. The mix is right. Unfortunately players like Jennings and McQueen were always going to be selected. Both should go ok in this format however.

Looking forward to seeing young Jock, MCK, Mikaele and Talau play in this looser format.

wow some teams are taking the 9's seriously .. the Slimies have named 14 1st graders i think .. while other teams have name 3 or 4 1st graders.

Eels always take it seriously - won the 2016 competition and then had it stripped. Lol.

They haven’t won an actual premiership in 30 years the nines is the best they can get ?

But the thing is they're giving a lot of their highly talented young crop a go. Their jersey flegg squad was excellent last year.

We're excited to be giving Talau and Madden a go. They have at least 8-9 players of similar potential that they're giving a go. Sure many might not have heard of many of them, I know of several of them, but that doesn't mean they're not top notch exciting young players.

If given the choice of watching plodders with no future with us, or exciting youngsters with x factor I know which lineup i'd rather see in a meaningless nines tournament. As many on here now though, i'm all for giving youth a shot when the quality's there.

You’ve just jinxed it. They’ll win the premiership now. Thanks.

I havent seen anything of him other than the videos posted here but I remember a month or so ago someone posted news from the camp, I think via the Cougar (Pre Latrell and Pre Doueihi) and M Johns was mentioned as training for the fullback spot.

Based on the videos Ive watched, he is a big kid, plays fullback, centre, wing (looks big enough to end up in 2nd row) won J Flegg player of the year two years ago at Dragons, has spent a year at Penrith since, Dragons junior (South Coast)

That was me. I occasionally bump into one of the physios and he told me he was training at fullback and looked the goods. That was before the Douhickey signing. He rated him though, along with Billy Walters at hooker.
