Wests Tigers Coaches

Agree. You can tell from last years NSW cup and the Cowboys match this year that Gardiner has what it takes. A smarter move would’ve been to sign him as interim and give him every chance to succeed. If he failed then we could’ve gone with the sheens benji experient as plan C….Have we definitely lost Gardiner for next year?
Has anybody considered that Gardiner knocked back an offer to coach the team

I didn’t have any inside information I just thought it may have been a possibility as it is a lose/lose situation. Look at Potter didn’t get the job even though he improved them. Gardiner might have been smart not to take it on.

I realise our incoming coach believes Sam Walker “is not getting paid to tackle,” “that’s not his job,” but gosh, you gotta admire his defence last night against Storm. He saved a couple of tries, and is looking like a GF style 7.
Who said this? With that attitude, looks like we have some great improvement in defence to look forward to 🙄

Have no doubt these results lie squarely with Sheens/Benji who decided to release and loan players whilst announcing the priority was 2024 and beyond, giving them a better opportunity for success under their watch. Stuff the 2022/23 supporters

Everyone seems to be directing darts at Sheens for losses since he's been here, I don't blame them.
What's his job ATM?
I refuse to believe Tim is just having a sauna at the COE.
One hope is he's hard it at getting the roster and recruitment ready for next year and that's his prime focus.
Next year he is responsible for the roster.
I still don't believe he's just sitting on his hands and he is on the payroll... isn't he?
What if he's been working hard and has had some success?
I don't know if the same applies to Benji and Robbie.
I think Gardiner could have had a more proactive roll in this regardless of him leaving.
The main thing I want is a good roster in 03 and if Tim needs this time to get it done then so be it.

Tim, benji and Robbie have said what they can guarantee is they will leave no stone unturned from next season.

Sheens has specifically said he did not coach this year to prepare for next season which includes getting two rookie coaches ready.

The boys are working hard don't worry about that their energy is on next season and beyond.

Exactly. The forum needs to understand and trust this but do you blame them for doubting, NO.

Why was Brett Kimmorely promoted over Gardiner?? Uncle Timmy needs to explain why this happened because the only time we saw real improvement from this squad was when Gardiner was in charge against the Broncos
