Wests Tigers in running to sign Elijah Taylor

Well if he is looking for a starting spot and more minutes we would be a better option for him than the Roosters. I know they have injuries at the moment but when they are at full strenght i don't think he would get a start.

Ah yeah us versus the Roosters in a signing battle… The only way he ends up here is if they pass. They might be saving up for another SBW stint.

I don't take too much of transfer deals that are played out in the press.

A pinch of salt, till the signed deal is confirmed by our club management.

This is the caliber of player we'll be attracting for 2018 and on wards only because we dont have a single player signed for 2018\. JT needs to be blamed for that!

sounds good to me! just dont pay overs for him

chooks should win that battle though - where would you rather go, honestly…

the reason it seems the chooks are rorting is cause in this scenario they can offer say 500k, and we would have to offer minimum 600k for taylor to consider us. if we offer 500k the chooks have all the facilities, coaching staff, and players around him to make going there extremely more attractive

i think we'll be competitive with TPAs from now with uncle harry helping out

It's a massive Yes from me…but it just looks like a Moley afterthought ..he like..who might need a forward...umm WESTS Tigers...

Would be the perfect pick up though...Maybe we could throw in Buchanan to them to sweeten the deal...

Buchanan is only on a 1 year deal…..better still they can have Curtis Sironen and a straight swap, a win win for all parties

There would be a lot of players on the transfer list before Siro.

Why would he go to the Roosters with Taukeiaho, Cordner, Guerra and Aubusson? He wants out because he wants more game time. The Roosters are as stacked as the Panthers in the second row. They're also potentially a club on the slide after a long period of success whereas we are potentially a club on the up after a lean patch. That's how I'd be selling it to him anyway…

Maybe so but he would be in my top 3 I would get rid off, just not getting value out of him.

For now haven't seen anything that leaves me excited that he plays for us.

yup all true - i was talking a little more in general

guess it's up to him to weight up better facilities/coaches against a potential opportunity for game time with us

Hard worker and good defender. Would be a handy signing, but not sure if he is better than our current starting 2nd rowers

Pass for me spends more time off tha pitch than on it

2011 - 21/24
2012 - 23/24
2013 - 23/24
2014 - 17/24
2015 - 20/24

Yeah in five years he's missed 16 out of 120 games, clearly perennially injured…

Would take him in an instant, those who say he is injured a lot - he isn't compared to players we have.

Quality, would tighten up the defence a lot and give us something on the other side to compliment Sirro.

Our back row is skinnier than a teenage girl with anorexia. Can't remember a time when we were so low on depth. Our first choice back row bar Lawrence are not up to standard. ET would be a significant upgrade on what we already have.
