Wests Tigers injury update

I have to admit, i'm kinda relieved

8 weeks for Lote seems at the top end of predictions, but June/July for lawrence is amazeballs!

Robert Lui also likely to be unavailable. FFS.

Had scans today on an injured ankle. Sheens didn't say how long he would be out for. He was just on 2SM.

Well that solves the Moltzen dilemma this weekend doesn't it?

Cue Geo and Kul… :sunglasses:

Will be very interesting to see how Moltz handles the 7 jersey on the weekend. Will he play the 80 mins? Or will Sheens work out some sort of plan to give him a spell if need be?

bloody hell, what is this 2006?

So, that would mean Moltzen in at halfback, Brown on the wing and Daniella then in the centres, glad we have some depth, hopefully 😛ray: , that will be it on the injury front for some time????????

Looks like a race between us and Newcastle as to which team can have the most players injured all at once. It's getting ridiculous now.

I would shift Ayshford and Utai to the left side. Utai is a left winger by trade and Ayshford has excelled on the left side as well. Both Brown and Daniella hand right side duties very well also.

Jacob Miller joined the Tigers from the Roosters in the off-season and has been playing in the club's under-20 team, for which he has scored two tries and kicked 10 goals from 10 attempts in the first three rounds. He takes the place of Robert Lui, who is out indefinitely with an ankle injury.

Lui is one of 11 members of the club's first-grade squad unavailable through injury. The others, plus their injuries and when it is expected they will return, are: Gibbs (knee, round five), Junior Moors (foot, round six), Fulton (shoulder, round seven), Gareth Ellis (ankle, round seven), Nathan Waters (foot, round seven), Ben Murdoch-Masila (shoulder, round eight), Lote Tuqiri (arm, round 12), Chris Lawrence (hip, indefinite), Ryan (groin, indefinite) and Nu Akeripa (foot, indefinite).

I've seen Miller play 2 games this season and have been very impressed. It's a big step up but hopefully he'll handle it. Also great to have a good goal kicker. We're the only team with 2 wins not in the 8 - bloody for and against bites us on the rear end again!!!

The doctors are saying 12 weeks for Lawrence at the moment too.

I Imagine that would be the mid point Willow is that correct ?? Somewhere between 10-16 weeks would be time frame on what I have heard about from prior cases

Tim Sheens on Talkin sport actually said 8-12, i'd be happy with 12 weeks….

Talk about a costly 2 points

This game alone is enough to derail 2011.

Im depressed know

On his twitter Chris announced
"hey guys thanks for all the support the results from the scans were positive so hoping to be back in 3 months"
